It had been a long day. After a shopping trip with your best friend, Nobara, you were more than ready to relax. The two of you had grown up in the same small countryside town—a place you both despised—and moving to the city had been a shared dream.
By the time you returned to the dorms, exhaustion heavy on your limbs. You waved Nobara off with a tired smile before stepping inside, slipping off your shoes with a relieved sigh.
Your feet ached.
Hobbling into the bathroom, you splashed cold water on your face, the cool sensation grounding you. The bathtub filled as you poured in bubbles, watching the foam rise before peeling off your clothes and sinking into the warmth.
Tension melted from your muscles, and for the first time all day, you felt at ease. You lathered your face with cleanser, rinsing it off before pressing a sheet mask to your skin. Settling back, you reached for your phone, scrolling lazily—until a message from Itadori popped up.
A smile tugged at your lips.

A slight smile tugs at your lips as you peel the sheet mask from your face, setting it aside before sinking back into the warm bathwater. The heat soothes your muscles, the scent of your favorite bath products in the air as steam curls toward the ceiling. You let yourself relax for a few more minutes before finally standing and stepping out onto the cool tiles.
Wrapping yourself in a plush robe, you pat your damp skin dry before moving to the mirror. The steam in the room slowly started to clear as you smooth your favorite moisturizer over your face, massaging it in with slow practiced motions. It's a simple routine, but it always left you feeling refreshed.
Stepping into your room, you make a quick stop by the window, ensuring it's shut before slipping off your robe. Skimming through your dresser, you settle on a pair of red plaid shorts and a black tank top—comfortable enough for a late-night movie marathon. You gathered some snacks from your stash, tossing them into a bag along with your favorite blanket.
With everything packed, you slide into your house shoes and make your way out of the room, bag in hand. The dorm hall was quiet at this hour as you walked carefully, mindful not to wake anyone—especially Fushiguro, who sleeps just next door to Yuji.
Reaching Yuji's door, you knock lightly against the it, waiting for a response. Within seconds, the door swings open, revealing his ever-bright grin. In one hand, he holds a small stack of DVD cases, his excitement practically radiating off him.
"Hey!" he greets you cheerfully, stepping aside so you can come in. The dim glow of his lamp on his bedside table made the room feel cozy, and at the foot of his bed sits a still-warm pizza box, its scent filling the air.
You plop onto the bed, shifting onto your stomach as you prop yourself up on your elbows, eyes scanning the DVD cases in his hand. He flops down onto the bean bag chair near the foot of the bed, legs stretched out as he shuffles through the movies.
"So, what are we feeling?" he asks, holding up a few options. "Horror? Comedy? Oh! What about that action movie we said we'd watch but never did?"
You scrunch your nose playfully. "The one with awful CGI? Absolutely."
"Hey, the explosions make up for it." He grins, slipping the disc into the player before grabbing a slice of pizza from the box.
The movie starts, and the two of you settle into a comfortable atmosphere—laughing at the ridiculous effects, making random comments, and tossing crust at each other when one of you says something dumb. Every now and then, he turns to you with an over exaggerated gasp at the dramatic moments, and you roll your eyes in amusement.
As the night went on, your eyes grow heavier, the warmth of the room and the dim lighting making you feel more tired by the second.
You barely register the moment when Itadori, noticing your decreasing energy, climbs onto the bed beside you. He props himself up against the pillows, keeping his eyes on the screen, but the weight of his presence next to you is comforting.
At some point, your exhaustion fully takes over, and you unknowingly shift closer, your head resting against his shoulder. He stiffens for a second, glancing down at you before sighing softly.
"Hey," he whispers, nudging your shoulder gently. "You're gonna get a crick in your neck if you sleep like that."
You mumbled something that he couldn't understand, shifting slightly but not moving away. Then, in a barely audible voice, you murmured, "Stay..."
His breath catches for a moment, but then a small smile tugs at his lips. "Alright, alright," he says quietly, finding a more comfortable spot against the pillows.
The movie played in the background, though it was completely forgotten. Yuji was aimlessly scrolling on his phone, taking a couple pictures with stupid filters to show you in the morning. When he felt his eyelids grow heavier, he turned his phone off and tossed it on his desk.
"Night, [Name]," he whispered, barely loud enough to hear.
Dont forget to vote! It helps
