It was a Sunday afternoon. You were working your shift at a cafe to earn some extra cash to put your brother through collage. You had been working there for about 6 months now and noticed a dark haired boy would always come every Sunday, get a plain black coffee, then sit at a table in the corner of the cafe.
You always thought he was cute but never had the guts to talk to him. When your brother got sick, you had no choice but to stay home for the weekend to take care of him. Your parents were almost never home, at the bar all night or the casino all day.
It was annoying.
You are the older sister of three. Two boys and one girl. Your parents are absent so often that your younger sister started calling you mom. It was sickening. Of course, you loved your siblings but you were a 15 year old girl working forty-two hours a week. All because your parents were deadbeats.
While you were absent your co-worker said that the dark haired boy came Sunday again and asked where you were. It made you blush a bit and your co-worker teased you for it.
The next weekend, you were back at work. Around four in the afternoon, your favorite regular came up and started to order but you interrupted him.
"A-"
"A medium black coffee with no cream or sugar."
He chuckled as he handed you the money and you smiled. "You weren't here last Sunday?" he asked as you gave him his change. "Ah, yeah. My little brother was sick so I had to take the weekend off." you said as you started making his coffee.
"Oh." He said flatly as you handed him his coffee. "When does your shift end?" He asked as he took the coffee with a smile. "Uh, around five I think?" You said as you looked at your watch.
"Would you like to have diner with me? My treat." He said with a smile. "I would love to, but I have to pick my sister up from daycare." You said with a slight frown as he nodded.
"I understand. Another time maybe? I can give you my number." He said as he pulled his phone out with an embarrassed smile. "I would love to!" You said as he handed you his phone. You handed him yours in return and started typing your number in.
'Y/n L/n' You put as you handed him his phone with a smile. He handed you your phone as he grabbed his coffee and walked out with a smile.
"Come again soon!"
When he got outside he put his fist in the air, as if to celebrate.
That just made you laugh as your co-worker tapped your shoulder. "Oh my Y/n! I always knew you were a pretty girl but I didn't know you would be picking up boys at our workplace!" She said teasingly, which only made you blush.
You rolled your eyes and looked at your phone. 'Megumi❤️'
'He really set that as my contact! That's funny.' You thought as you chuckled softly, earning a grin from your co-worker.
You just rolled your eyes and started attending to your next customer. Then, your phone dinged. After you handed the customer their coffee, you checked your phone.

Megumi❤️: Hey Y/n! Would you like to have diner this Saturday?
Y/n L/n: I would love to! Is 7 ok?
Megumi❤️: Of course! Is [Favorite Restaurant] ok?
Y/n L/n: Perfect! See you then! :D

You smiled to your phone as you realized your shift ended. You took your apron off and walked out the door, getting into your car.
(Time skip to when you got home with your sister because your author is a lazy bitch💀)
You arrived at your shitty house, holding your sleeping sister in one arm and your bag in the other. You got inside to see your brothers watching tv on the couch. When they saw you get home they rushed over to see you.
"Sister! Welcome home!" Your youngest brother, Akito, said with a big goofy smile. "What's for dinner, Y/n?" Your other brother, Asahi, asked while sitting on the couch.
"Frozen pizza I guess? I didn't plan anything special." You said as you scratched the back of your neck. "Alright. I'll make it. You get yourself cleaned up." He said. Asahi was a overprotective younger brother. Being 13, only 2 years younger than you, he was always helping around the house.
"Thanks, kid." You said as you ruffled Akito's hair and Laid your younger sister, Airi, on a chair as you went to take a shower.
as you undressed, your phone dinged.

You couldn't help but smile. You sat your phone down and got into the shower, finally relaxing after a long day of work.
