Something about him made you mad. You had no reason to dislike Inumaki, but you did.

Maybe it was the fact that he never spoke, or the fact that you always caught his lavender eyes looking at you.

Oh well.

One cold winter day, you were out shopping with your dear upperclassmen Maki. Well, more like you didn't want to be stuck shopping with Nobara, who would make you try on everything she saw. The first and second years had split off into groups to go shopping. Gojo was paying of course.

The pairs were You and Maki, Nobara, Fushiguro, and Itadori, and Panda with Inumaki. 

Damn Inumaki.

As you walked down the busy sidewalks of Japan, you could hear many things. The sounds of cars, yelling pedestrians, and so many food stalls.

Your e\c eyes darted to a quiet cafe amongst the many buildings. It was a cute tall cafe with what looked like a apartment complex on top. 

 "Can we go there?" You shamelessly asked your upperclassman, who also looked a bit tired of the noise. "Yeah. Let's go, I'm not in the mood to shop." she said in her usual gruff voice, which made you smile a bit.

You walked into the cafe, holding the wooden door with glass windows up top for your upperclassmen as the little bell rang, which was used to signal someone had opened the door. 

You walked in behind the green-haired girl as you took in the quiet and peaceful environment. The sound of fire popping from the fireplace, the warm linen lighting, the faint sound of music, and the only other people there was a boy and a panda sitting in the corner of the room at a round wooden table.

Wait.

A boy and a panda.

You have to be shitting me.

You kissed your teeth, making a 'tch.' Noise as you looked over to Maki. "Let's just get our shit and pretend we didn't see them." she said to you, sensing your now annoyed attitude. "Yeah, ignore a panda sitting at a table in a cafe. Great idea." You said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes.

 Well, Maki and Panda had a plan.

Sometime today they were going to get you and Inumaki alone. But you didn't know that. As the two of you walked up to the wooden front desk, a kind looking older woman greeted the two of you with a warm smile. She had a green apron around her and silver hair tied in a low loose bun on the back of her head.

 "Welcome. What can I get you two lovely children?" she asked. Her voice sounded like any grandma's, but warmer. Maki was uninterested though. "Just a black coffee." She spoke harshly, but she ment no harm. That's just how she was. 

 "And for you?" The lady asked, her eyes kind now locking with yours. "Just a f\d, please." You said in a kinder voice then Maki's. she told you the amount and you paid with money Gojo gave you before Panda called you over.

 You groaned silently but Maki only smirked. You reached the round table with drinks in hand. Panda and Inumaki sat across from each other, so you ended up sitting next to Inumaki.

Lovely.

 "Shit." Maki spoke as her phone dinged right before Panda was going to speak. "I've got to go get Nobara. She started yelling at Itadori in the middle of the mall and now all three of them are in mall jail." She groaned before Panda spoke. "I'll go with you." The two both stood up quickly and ran out the door snickering, leaving you with Inumaki.

Honestly you're not surprised

 Inumaki took his phone out of his black jackets pocket before texting you. 'you have pretty eyes.' You looked at the text with a hint of surprise on your face. 

How dare he tell me I have pretty eyes! 

And how dare he look slightly appealing while he's fidgeting with his hands!

You thought to yourself those exact thoughts

Inumaki looked at your reaction and chuckled silently. Your cheeks heated up slightly at the reaction from him. 

So what did you do?

You smacked his arm.

He gripped the spot you hit, flakey lavender nail polish could be seen on his nails as he faked being in pain. He had a playful look in his eyes.

His beautiful lavender eyes that matched his nails.

Wait, WHY are you thinking that? 

he grinned before texting you again.

'I'm melting on the inside. You can't see it but I am.'

You couldn't help but let out a scoff as you looked at him. He had a stupid smile on his face that made you want to squish his cheeks.

The two of you eventually left the cafe and started walking back to campus. The cold winter air made you shiver, as you had gotten accustomed to the warm cafe. Inumaki realised this and took his jacket off to wrap around your shoulders. "Keep it, damn rice ball." You said as you pushed his arm away.

 "yeah, you're cold. I'm giving you my jacket." You stopped walking and stood there shocked. He took the opportunity to wrap the jacket around you.

Wait, did he just—

 "You can talk?!" You slightly yelled, earning you looks from people passing by. he simply just chuckled before grabbing your wrist and gently moving you to the part of the sidewalk away from the street.

When did he get so kind?

You stood there dumbfounded for a second before his hand gently grabbed yours and started walking, taking you with him. He was a walking green flag at this point!

 "You're acting weird." You spoke in a slightly flustered voice as you fixed the jacket he gave you. He just gave you a stupid grin which made you roll your eyes and start walking faster, dragging him with you.

 He smiled at the fact that you didn't let go of his hand. He got cocky and decided to lift your hand close to his face, and placed a gentle kiss on your knuckle. You froze in a flustered state before taking your hand back and putting the hood of his jacket on and basically ran away. 

He chuckled as you mumbled profanities and matched your pace, making sure you stayed on the safe side of the sidewalk.
