3:27 A.M, Black Forest

"Where did they go?" Mina, dressed in pajamas, asked herself as she lost sight of Nayeon and Jeongyeon.

Mina was surrounded by plants and trees in that dark thick dense forest, which blocked most of the moonlight, casting a dark shadow on the river not far from her place. The water was still and black, and it was impossible to see the bottom. A few drops of fog floated over the river, adding to the air of mystery.

"Mina, is that you?"

Mina turned around when she heard that deep, strong, masculine voice, and was surprised to see Mr. Kang before her.

"Mr. Kang, what are you doing here?" The worry in Mina's voice was palpable.

"Your father gave me an order when I passed your car and saw the light coming from the forest, so I followed it out of concern that you might be in danger," Mr. Kang lied.

Mina didn't know what to say, she couldn't grasp the situation.

"Anyway, what are you doing here?" Mr. Kang inquired.

Mina blurted out, "Hiking!"

"At this time?" Mr. Kang questioned, and looked at Mina from head to toe. "And dressed like that?"

"Yes." Mina seems to have come to her senses. "Why, can't I?"

"If that's the case, let me accompany you on the hike. I'm sure your father will understand if I'm a little late." Mr. Kang smiled friendly which made Mina gasp.

"I'm not weak enough to have someone watch over me. I can handle myself, Mr. Kang, so go now and don't make my father stand for too long," Mina refused.

Mr. Kang chuckled at that remark, "You and Sharon are completely different from each other. Instead of asking for help, you chase me away like a dog. It's true what she said, you can stand on your own."

"Asking for help?" Mina raised an eyebrow at this. "What do you mean by that, Mr. Kang?"

"I saw you and Sharon grow up, Mina. So somehow I know you too," Mr. Kang answered.

"Thank you, Mr. Kang, but I can handle this matter." Mina bowed in respect to the gentleman.

Mr. Kang smiled, apparently pleased with Mina's behavior. "Then I'll take my leave, Mina," he replied, and bowed his head to pay respect to Mina.

Seeing that Mr. Kang was no longer in sight, Mina continued her business until she saw in the distance, on the other side of the forest, a bamboo villa lit with yellow fireflies-like bulbs, illuminating the dark environment.

Mina narrowed her eyes when she noticed someone smoking while using the phone by the river. "Jeongyeon unnie?" she said in a low voice, and covered her mouth as she realized she had found the right spot. But, where is she exactly? Who did Nayeon and Jeongyeon come to see there? Is she one of Chaeyoung's tripters, or is there another reason? Mina was eager to give this answer, so she stayed for a while, seeking to gain some more knowledge before returning to the Sons' house.
