Sunshine

Vedang avoided Nia's gaze when she glared at him for not leaving when she said she's done and can leave if he wants to.

She thought he would grab her hands and run away whenever he will get the chance but he was standing giving his whole attention to the ceremony happening in front of them.

"You know Ms.Siddiqui who works for us as a proof reader" Nia asks her brother and he awkwardly nodded his head, "She's here" Nia says unaware of how it is the reason her brother has decided to stay at the wedding.

The groom and bride was finally seated at the mandap and the rituals of the wedding has started when Vedang finally found Noor again.

She was sitting on the opposite side talking to other women and laughing because She's Noor and she loves laughing.

Her gaze find him. She raised her eyebrows and mouthed, "you found me" He smiled and mouthed, "told ya" And She laughs.

In this golden lehnga she remind Vedang of the Sun and he has never been a fan of sun before today.

She pushed her hair behind her ears and her earrings fell on the floor.

She didn't noticed but Vedang did.

He mouthed "your earrings". She couldn't understand and raised her eyebrows.

He touched his ears and she hesitantly touched hers and realise her earrings isn't there.

Her eyes got bigger and he smiled. Her eyes could hold a galaxy in it.

"It's on the floor" He mouthed and gesture toward the floor.

She did and pick it up and showed him, "found it" And they both laughed.

After almost 20 minutes Nia asked Vedang to leave and It was too late for Vedang to make another excuse so he nodded his head.

"Yeah let's go" He says and looked for Noor but she wasn't there.

Nia grabbed his arms and dragged him out if the function.

"Having a crush on an employee. Are you nuts bro" Karthik says to Vedang while flipping the pages of one of Vedang's file.

"Crush? Please I've never had one of those" Vedang says in his defence.

Karthik scoffs, "bro this is what is called having a crush"

Vedang flipped him a middle finger and Karthik laughed.

It is not a crush. He just find her very pretty..very very pretty, Vedang thought to himself.

He grabbed Noor's script and start working on it.

He finds it very weird and cute at the same time that in between her script has handwritten papers and her handwriting is as pretty as her.

He didn't wanted to ruin it so he grabbed another paper and start writing the mistakes in it to show her where she has to improve.

He worked on it for hours. Karthik got bored and leaves without telling him because he could see Vedang is too much into it to even pay attention to him.

He didn't stopped until he finished almost half of the book.

The smell of the rain hit him and he stared outside the window. He wonders if Noor is the Sun, What is he?
