Wedding

"30 minutes that's it" Vedang reminded Nia and she nodded, "yes I know stop repeating it" She says and lock their arms.

The bride Isha is Nia's college friend. They're not as close as they used to be but she's getting married and Nia felt that she should come.

They both walked inside. Nia was wearing a yellow floral lehnga with her hair tied in a low bun. Vedang was in a black suit.

The place crowded just like every other wedding Vedang has attended in his life.

"We're in a wedding not a funeral Ved Smile a bit" Nia says to him with a fake smile plastered on her face.

He asked a smile and they walked to the bride.

"Nia" Isha greeted her as soon as she saw her. "You look so pretty" Nia complimented her and they both start chatting.

Vedang cornered himself. 30 minutes, he reminded himself.

He was getting himself a drink when his gaze landed on a woman wearing a golden lehnga with the most breathtaking smile he has ever seen, "Noor" he whispers her name as if it's the most beautiful word that has ever existed and maybe it is.

She was walking hand in hand with a woman who probably looked her age.

He stared at her for few minutes because he had the privilege to.

She was loud. He could feel the vibration of her laugh and her bangles.

She turns towards his direction and found him.

Her eyes light up as if his presence made her happy and for some weird reason it made Vedang's heart flip inside his chest.

He waved at her because he thinks she likes waving. She always wave at him.

She walked toward him.

"Hi" She says.

"Hi" He replied.

They both smiled and hide their eyes from each other.

Her presence makes him loose his braincell.

"What are you doing here" Noor ask, "It's Nia's Friend's wedding" He says and she nodded, "she's also my friend" She answered without him asking, "and neighbour" She added, "it's not like I'm telling you where I live" She added and then hides her face. "Ignore the last sentence please" She says, "What did you say. I didn't hear it at all" He says with a smile.

He offered her a drink, "I don't drink" She says and showed him her plate of some junk food.  He put the glass back, "no you can drink" She tells him, "No I can't" He replied with a hidden smile she stared at him in confusion, "I mean I don't want to" He added. She laughs, "okay don't regret later" She says teasingly, "I won't" He replied while keeping his gaze on her.

They both turned toward the bride at the announcement of the ceremony taking place.

"I think I should go" She says and he nodded, "where can I find you again" He asks and immediately wanted to hit himself for asking her that.

She smiled, "umm..I guess" She stops and think for a minute and then continued, "I don't know but umm I'll probably be here somewhere"

He stared at her for a while without any reaction and then added, "I will find you" She smiled, "let's see" and runs away to the bridesmaids.
