"I think it's pretty great" Vedang whispers to Noor and She smiled with those wide eyes.

Sometimes he wonders if he says things that can please her just to see those wide eyes.

"Really" She asks excited. He nodded immediately. He really likes it.

"Pitch this to Nia as she handles the romance genre" Noor nodded but this time there was a hesitation it it.

"She'll love it I know her preference" He carressed her hands and they both just stare at each other for a few seconds before Vedang breaks it and clear his throat.

"I'll take the leave. You should hurry back too. Lunch break is almost over" They both stood from their chair and Noor grabbed her bag, "You leave first" Noor suggests and he nodded.

"You look so so pretty today" Rohan compliments Noor and she dramatically hides her face from him. They both burst into laughter. "You're a dork" Rohan says to her and she opened her mouth for a comeback before a Man about 5'11 enters the office. Even when he was inside he was still wearing a shade. Sara, Vedang's assistant greeted him and They enters Vedang room.

Noor and Rohan looked at each other and immedialy went to Kiara, "who's that" Kiara rolled her eyes at both of them but reply, "It's Karthik" Noor made a face, " and who's Karthik" Kiara didn't even looked up at them, "Mr.Agnihotri's bestfriend"

Oh He has a bestfriend, Noor thought to herself. So what did you thought he's a loner, Her other self asked. She hit her own head.

Noor waited few more hours to pass before She made her way toward Nia's room. She felt nervous. Nia was nice enough but not that nice.

She knocked on the door and heard Nia's voice. Before she could enter the room She saw Vedang sitting right beside her. Noor smiled a little.

His presence soothes sonething inside her.

"Yes" Nia acknowledge Noor.

Before Noor could say something Vedang interfered, "This is Noor and She has an amazing story to show you" Nia and Noor both were shocked at what he said.

"Oh..okay" Nia nodded after a few seconds.

She flipped few pages and called her editor, "I've a story to review" After those words she hang up. A senior editor came got the copy and left.

Nia stared at Noor, "anything else" Noor immediately shook her head, "than you can leave for now" Noor didn't need to to listen it the second time. She took her leave immediately.
