{Third person POV}

It's been a short while since Katara humbled Master Pakku, and she's set to spar with a young boy named Sangok. She eyes her opponent with a determined look on her face, while Sangok looks at her with a frightened expression. He was shaking like a leaf.. He summons a globule of water, freezes it into a large ball of ice, and sends it flying in Katara's direction. However, Katara is quick to unfreeze the ice ball and, turning around swiftly, bends a wave of water in his direction, which she proceeds to freeze, thus suspending Sangok in an icy trap. Baia was sent to watch the progress of Master Pakku's students that day, and she was impressed all over again by how powerful Katara really was. After eating another piece of blubbered whale jerky, she smiled, "That was impressive. Very impressive.." Displeased, Master Pakku looks at Katara's opponent, "Nice try, Pupil Sangok." He then shows Sangok how to break free, "A couple more years and you might be ready to fight a sea sponge." He unfreezes the ice; Sangok falls to the ground, dazed.

Master Pakku turns to his other students, "Would anyone care for a rematch?" Several students were sat by the sidelines, all of which were tired and unamused. "Katara, you've advanced more quickly than any student I've ever trained." Baia looks at Master Pakku, and he responds to it despite not knowing what that offended expression looked like, "Besides you, Baia." "Thank you!" She says in a harmonious tone of voice. Katara giggles and smiles brightly, and Master Pakku continues speaking, "You have proven that with fierce determination, passion, and hard work, you can accomplish anything." Baia looks at Aang and finishes Master Pakku's speech for him, "Raw talent alone isn't enough." Aang, meanwhile, is lying down on the ground with a lazy smile while floating Momo around on a ball of air above him. "Pupil Aang!" Master Pakku shouts at Aang, who stops what he's doing and doesn't seem to notice Momo falling and landing on his head, "Yes, Master Pakku?" Sarcastically, he replies, "Care to step into the sparring circle? I figure since you've found time to play with house pets, you must have already mastered waterbending."

Baia chuckles lightly as Aang jumps off the ground with airbending, "I wouldn't say mastered, but check this out!" He proceeds to twist around, bending some of the surrounding snow into a snowman of himself. Baia starts to laugh at how adorable the whole ordeal was, and Momo knocking it over as Master Pakku and Katara looking at Aang with similar looks of disdain just made Baia laugh harder, "Oh my stars, that was hilarious!"

In another part of the city, Yue and Sokka are taking a walk along a bridge. Yue is talking to Sokka while he's walking along the top of the bridge's wall, "So they don't have any palaces in the Southern Tribe?" Sokka sits down on the ledge, "Are you kidding? I grew up in a block of ice. It's not exactly a cultural hub." She laughs and puts her hand on his shoulder; when Sokka smiles at her, she gets a little upset and looks at him with a serious expression. "Sokka, this is wrong." she says, and Sokka protests, "What's wrong? We're taking a walk!" "I'm engaged. It just feels.." Yue replies unsurely.

Just then, Sokka brightens, "I know what you need." He hops off the rail and stands at her side, "You need to meet my good friend, Appa." "Who?"

A few minutes goes by, and they approach the stables, where Appa is resting. Sokka opens his arms out in enthusiasm, "Appa and I go way back, don't we, boy?" The thunder of Appa shifting is heard as Sokka's features contort to an expression of surprise. Appa comes to see Sokka and Yue, lands on top of Sokka, and starts licking his face, much to his dismay. "Ah, ah, easy! Down, boy! Agh! No, up!!" Yue laughs a little, "Looks like you haven't been giving Appa enough attention!" Sokka attempts to pull himself free of Appa, who's still licking his face.

Another couple minutes go by, and Sokka and Yue are sitting up on Appa's saddle, with Sokka holding the reins in his hand. "So, how does this work?" Yue asks excitedly. Sokka asks her a question of his own, "You holding on tight?" After she nods, Sokka speaks in a cool tone, "Yip.." he dramatically pauses, "...Yip." Once he finishes his command, Appa takes off. From where they were, they could see the entire city. Yue was in awe, "Oh.. my.. goodness!" She looks over Appa's saddle, "Wow, I can't believe you do this everyday." "Yeah, we pretty much live up here." Sokka says while stretching.
Yue asks another question, "Is it always this cold in the sky?" she moves closer, and Sokka responds happily, "Not when you're with someone." The moment was beautiful. While yes, Yue is the princess.. To Sokka, she's way more than that title. She's beautiful, smart, and kind. If it was up to him, he wouldn't have her any other way..
