Ankur's Pov-

Finally we were done with our lectures and it's time to go home now. Honestly I wanted to go home early as my mood was entirely spoiled. Ofcourse because of that dickhead Ronit.

Only because of Aashna, I remained calm the whole day and just endured everything. Otherwise I would not have stayed for a second and would have bunked the college.

Whatever happened there on the ground, I feel it was right because after seeing Ronit beaten badly, anyone will think 100 times before trying to disturb my Aashna. And whatever I said about Aashna, those words just came out of my mouth on their own.

Although this is good. Aashna probably got an idea of how much I care for her. I am not her best friend in name only.

Well, I and Aashna came out of college together. During this time we did not talk to each other at all. Because both of us were in a bad mood. I wore my helmet and sat on the bike, Aashna was about to sit and then suddenly stopped.

"Kya hua? Chalna nahi hai kya?" I asked looking at her.

("What happened? Don't you want to go?")

"Nahi!" She replied. (No)

"Kya? Wapas Ghar nhi Jana? Yahi rahogi?" I asked out of curiosity.

(What? You don't want to go home? Will you stay here?)

"Jana toh hai, par Ghar nahi Jana." She said with a smirk.

(I want to go, but not to go home)

"Ghar nahi Jana? Fir kaha Jana hai? Sasuraal?" I also asked her out of sarcasm.

(Not going home? Then where to go? In-laws' house?)

"Hamesha bakwas hi karni hoti hai kya? Aur sasuraal jaungi bhi toh tumhare sath thodi jaungi?" She rolled her eyes.

(Do you always have to talk nonsense? And even if I go to my in-laws' house, why would I go with you?)

"Acha... Fir kiske sath jaogi?"
I asked, placing my fingers under my chin and resting my hands on the bike.

(Then who will you go with?)

"Sasuraal to apne pati ke sath jaungi" She flipped her hair on my face. The fragrance of her shampoo caught my attention.

(I will go to my in-laws house with my husband)

"Acha ji... Agar tumhara pati mai hi hua to?" I noticed she started blushing. "Hattt... Tum mere pati kabhi bhi nahi ban sakte. Mera pati to gentleman hoga, tumhari tarah lukkha thodi hoga."

(What if I become your husband?) (No way, You can never be my husband. My husband will be a gentleman, not a maniac like you)

"Toh is lukkhe ne jab tumhare husband ki baat Kari to tum laal kyu ho gayi?" I asked, moving my face little closer to her. There was a gap of just a few inches between us. "Batao chuzi kya ho Gaya?"

(So why did you turn red when this maniac talked about your husband?) (Tell me chick, what happened?)

Her eyes widened at my question. For a minute she had no answer to give. She could barely maintain eye contact. Then she hesitated a little and said, "Are you trying to flirt with me?"

"Umm... Kya lagta hai?" I was looking into her eyes but she was not meeting her gaze. Now I started feeling that this is a bit much because I have never flirted with her before. And I don't want to arouse any false expectations or feelings in her heart.
