Aashna's POV-

As I settled into bed, I couldn't help but replay the day's events in my mind.

Ankur's silly jokes, his genuine apology, and the way he made me smile despite everything.

My heart felt light, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for our friendship.

But as I drifted off to sleep, my mind wandered back to where Ankur went after he dropped me off.

He had turned his bike in the opposite direction, and I had no idea why.

Just as I was about to doze off, a familiar ache crept up in my abdomen.

I groaned inwardly, recognizing the telltale signs. Mood swings, fatigue, and now this - my period had finally arrived.

I got out of bed and headed to the washroom, my mind racing with thoughts of cramps, chocolate cravings, and Netflix binges.

As I confirmed my suspicions, I couldn't help but laugh at the universe's timing. Of course, my period would show up on the most emotionally rollercoaster day ever!

I took a deep breath, trying to shake off the exhaustion and discomfort. My mind kept wandering back to Ankur's mysterious turn. Where had he gone? And why?

Just as I was about to fall asleep, my phone started ringing. I saw Ankur's name on the screen, and my lips curved into a smile.

I picked up the call, saying, "Hello Ankudi."

"What were you doing?" he asked, his voice low and gentle. Maybe he sensed that I was about to sleep.

"I was about to sleep," I replied, my voice a bit drowsy.

"Did I disturb you?" he asked, concern etched in his voice.

I sat up in bed, suddenly alert, and said, "No, not at all. Uh, did you want to talk about something or need something?"

"You." he said, making my heart skip a beat. I asked again, "What???"

Then he said, "I mean, I want to meet you."

"Abhi?" I asked. (Right Now?)

"Hmm. Abhi!", he replied. (Yes, right now.)

"Kahan?" I asked. (Where?)

"Jaha tum ho whi", he said. (Wherever you are right now.)

This guy is totally crazy. Sometimes I can't understand his words or intentions.

"Abhi ghar par hu mai", I said. (I'm at my home right now.)

"I know. Tumhare ghar pe hi milna hai," he said. (I know, I want to meet you at your home.)

"If you wanted to meet me at my home, why did you leave me and go? And yeah... Why did you turn your bike around after dropping me off? Were you going to secretly meet someone?"

As soon as I said this, I heard him chuckle on the other end.

"You'll find out where I went and who I met. Just come downstairs first," he said, and I was shocked to learn that he was standing right outside my house.
