Chapter 23: Nightmare breathes

" Sure ." Bambam hangs up. Taehyung comes out of the washroom. He looks at the beautiful male and before he can proceed further according to Jungkook's order, his gaze catches something. 

The next moment he dashed towards a little girl, grasped the small frame in his arms, and moved to the other side at a fast pace falling on the floor eventually while holding the little girl carefully. The child was frightened by the hasty deed. 

Soon a lady rushes to them. Taking the little girl from his hold, she repeatedly thanked Bambam for saving her child.

Moments ago Bambam had noticed the sight of a red hole roaming on the girl's body, pointing at him to shoot. In his profession, he has witnessed several public killings.  People have enemies and they try to obliterate and torment them in multifarious ways.

The lady takes the child and she leaves. Thereupon soon it clicks Bambam's head. He left Taehyung's side. He turned behind. Instantly taking out his gun he ran. He saw their guard lying dead on the floor.

 " Stop there."  Bambam shouted pointing his gun at the group of men. There were four of them, one holding an unconscious Taehyung. They looked behind hearing his voice.

" Drop the gun or I will shoot you." Bambam heard someone demanding behind him, pointing a gun at his head.

 "We don't want to hurt anyone. We just want the boy. Leave us alone & you'll be alive." The men threatened Bambam.   

Everyone in the mall got scared hearing gunshots & there was chaos of people.

Bambam pretended to drop the gun but cleverly directed a blow at the man behind with his elbow which compelled the man to lose his grip on the gun. 

Thereafter he attempted to run towards Taehyung. But three more men came & hindered his way. Bambam looked at them. They arrived here with a large group and a well-executed conspiracy.

He kicked a man in the chest, smashing his face on the side wall. He punched furiously to the others. The other two guards of Jungkook came running and handled them. Taking the opportunity, Bambam forwards and shoots the man in one leg who is carrying Taehyung. 

The other man holds Taehyung as the previous man collapses. Without any clemency, one after another Bambam shoots down every person who approaches to shoot him or obstruct his way to Taehyung. 

 Another shot rang out before Bambam fired once more.

 " Bambam!" Seokjin shrieked and he dashed there hearing gunshots only to be encountered with blood oozing out from Bambam's body as someone shot him from behind.

Bambam held the site of his stomach as he didn't quit running towards them. His bullet reached directly again two times, and two lifeless bodies tumble on the floor. They fall dead and lifeless.  

Seokjin ran and held Bambam as tears flowed like fountains, panicked, glancing back and forth from Bambam to Taehyung and vice versa.

Bambam aims again but this time he falls on the floor as he receives another gunshot. Still holding the gun and lying on the floor, he aims last shoot to prevent taking Taehyung away. 

 " S-stop. '' Bambam's voice cracks as the bullet leaves his gun, not reaching the man who's holding Taehyung but the other guy. Vision obfuscated with Taehyung being taken away.

Heavy environment boiling the solemnity that walled the atmosphere of the room. Alive gloom reflecting Seokjin's face. His eyes were swollen due to crying so much.

" I didn't foresee the day I'd return, I would  have to confront the news of Taehyung's kidnapping." Hyungsuk's somber tone was vociferous enough in the silent environment.
