The quiet clinking of forks on plates filled the air as Taehyung and Jungkook ate in silence, their movements steady but distant.
Bambam, sensing the tension, leaned back slightly and broke the silence with a light comment before sipping in his coffee, "Beautiful morning, isn't it?"
“Yeah,” Jungkook replied. Taehyung didn’t respond, his attention fixed on his food. His face gave away nothing as the tension between him and Jungkook hung in the air.
Jungkook cleared his throat. "Did you sleep well, baby?" he asked Taehyung, his voice soft and hopeful.
Taehyung barely looked up from his plate, giving a curt nod. "Fine," he muttered, his tone clipped and cold, showing no interest in continuing the conversation.
Bambam silently shifted his gaze between both males while sipping his coffee. Jungkook's gaze occasionally drifted on Taehyung, who continued to ignore him, focused on his breakfast with silent anger written all over his face.
Soon, pushing his chair back, Taehyung stood up from the breakfast table. Jungkook’s eyes followed him, the weight of Taehyung’s silent anger pressing down on him.
“What happened?” Jungkook asked as he looked up.
“I'm done," Taehyung said before walking away from there.
Bambam leaned back in his chair, a playful smirk tugging at his lips. "Looks like someone's in the doghouse," he teased, raising an eyebrow at Jungkook. "Are you planning on fixing that, or should I get the popcorn?”
Jungkook shifted his gaze at Bambam “Figure out a way out of this, or I swear I’ll fire you, Bambam,” Jungkook gave a look before walking away from there.
Bambam sat there, momentarily dumbfounded, his playful smirk replaced by disbelief. “Wait! What?”

Inside the car, an almost suffocating silence surrounded them, heavy with unspoken words. Jungkook stole furtive glances at Taehyung, who sat in a brooding stillness.
“Baby!” Jungkook finally broke the heavy silence that had lingered throughout the drive.
“Hmm?” Taehyung hummed, his expression inscrutable as he fixated on the passing landscape, refusing to cast any glance at Jungkook.
“Why are you being so distant? Talk to me," Jungkook’s voice was edged with frustration as he brought the car to a halt in front of Taehyung's university.
"It's been three days since you started giving me the cold shoulder, baby.”
Turning slowly towards Jungkook, Taehyung silently stared at him. Therefore, he uttered,“ I have nothing to talk about with the one who bears an attitude in terms of proposing to his lover.”
Jungkook sighed, “I can't do these fancy things like proposals and all. Words feel empty to me. I can only show you my love in the way I know how," Jungkook responded, his voice laced with sincerity.
For a moment, Taehyung sat in silence, his expression unreadable. Without a word, he unlocked the door and stepped out of the car, leaving Jungkook staring at his back.
