SEPTEMBER 25TH
Penelope closed the door behind her and hung up her coat on the rack. Her dog, Pippa, ran up to her. "Hi, Pippa." she smiled and crouched down at her, giving her a kiss on her forehead. Donna came out of the kitchen door with a cup in her hand.
"How was work?" she asked.
"I have to work a case up in damn Manhattan," she said, standing up and hanging up her bag. "No details at all, just a serial killer that went on a 15 year hiatus and now magically appeared." she said frustratedly, walking into the kitchen and getting a cup.
Donna crept up behind her and put her arms around her waist and her head on her shoulder. "Is there no way to get out of it?"
"I tried baby I promise."
"Maybe we can rent an apartment for a little while. I don't have a problem with going up to Manhattan for a little while." Donna replied. She placed her head in the crook of Penelope's neck and closed her eyes, placing barely there kisses on Penny's neck.
"What about your job?"
"I can find a therapist job in New York no problem, my love."
