Confrontation

I pressed the doorbell to Aera's condominium unit. I have to pay one of her employees to tell me her address. She must have forgot about her clothes. I washed it the night I brought her home after she had gotten drunk.

I could have looked inside her bag to see where she lived, but I'm not sure what has gotten into my head at the time. I have been with other girls and seen them naked before, but Aera is different. She has that effect on me, and no one else could ever match my feelings for her.

When I first saw her when she opened her fast food restaurant across from my dance studio, I thought she was adorable. She drew me in right away.

That night, while taking off her clothes, I had to use all of my energy to remain calm

That night, while taking off her clothes, I had to use all of my energy to remain calm. I was very careful not to touch her skin, but looking at her body was another matter. But how can I get her out of her filthy clothes with my eyes closed? I rationalized with myself. I swear that if she was conscious, I would have a black eye in the morning.

The incident in my kitchen the next morning deprived me of sleep for a few nights. Her close proximity almost caused me to lose control.

I heard the door unlocked. My heart skipped a beat when Aera opened the door. She was dressed in an oversized white long-sleeved shirt, and her untied hair made her look more attractive.

Before she could say anything, I held the plastic bag I was carrying

Before she could say anything, I held the plastic bag I was carrying. "I got your clothes here," I told her.

She softens her expression. I could tell she was thinking because her eyes were filled with conflicting emotions.

"Come in," she finally said, opening the door wider. I take a look around her home.

Her unit is smaller than mine, but it has a cozy atmosphere. Her living room is decorated in pink and white, giving it a vibrant feel. Fairy lights hung from the sliding glass door that led to a small balcony.

An island divided her dining and kitchen area

An island divided her dining and kitchen area. The open door to her bedroom allows me a glimpse inside. The color scheme matches the living room. She was still a girl underneath her adult woman exterior.

I complimented her on how cool her place looked.

"Thanks," she replies. "Please take a seat. Can I get you a drink?"

"Just water is fine," I told her as I took my seat.

She went to her kitchen, and I followed her movements. She was barefoot, and every time she raised her hands, her dress rose, revealing a glimpse of her smooth thighs. Her legs are already bothering me, and a glance at her thighs makes me gasp. For a girl who is four feet and eleven inches tall, she has very long legs.

When she returned to the living room, I immediately averted my gaze. I got up and helped her with the tray she was carrying. There were two glasses of orange juice, one glass of water, and a plate of pastries.

"I will just go and change,"She said. I nodded, and she turned to go into her bedroom. I took a long, deep breath. I will die from holding my breath just by being near her.

She returned dressed in gray sweatpants and a pink tight-fitting shirt. She had pulled her hair back into a messy bun.

"I'm sorry, I can't offer you anything else," she said, gesturing to the snacks on the center table.

"It's okay," I assured her. "I have already eaten my dinner." I included.

Silence engulfed us. I reached for my glass of juice and took a sip. We both laughed as soon as our gazes met.

"Sorry, I find it very awkward," she said, blushing. "I apologize for acting like an ungrateful brat last time. Thank you for helping me that night." she added.

I gave her a smile. "Don't mention it. "I am just helping a neighbor," I said, winking at her.

She laughed, "I had no idea you lived close by."

"Now that you know, please feel free to ring my doorbell at any time," I joked.

She blushed more.

"I mean, if you need anything," I quickly added before she interpreted it incorrectly.

She was just about to say something when the doorbell rang.

When she opened the door, I heard a man say something.

"Please, Aera, listen to me," I heard the man say.

"I refuse to listen to any of your lies anymore!" Aera yelled angrily as she was about to shut the door when it slammed open. On impact, Aera fell to the floor. An enraged man plunged in.

I rushed to Aera's aid. "Hey!" I yelled at whoever he was.

He jerked his head up when he heard my voice.
"Who are you?" he demanded angrily.

I helped Aera up before confronting the man.
"I'm Aera's friend." I replied.

"Is he the reason you never want to speak to me?"He questioned Aera, pointing his finger at my face.

"So what if he is?"Aera lashed out at him.

The man's eyes squinted in anger as he looked me over from head to toe. I crossed my arms and stared at him.

Aera and I exchanged glances as the man laughed.

"You cannot do it, Aera."He said, wiping away tears from his eyes. "You loved me way too much."

I cocked my brow.

"Perhaps I was blindly in love with you in the past, Paul, and you took me for granted. You cheated on me and made me look foolish for a year!"She yelled at the man, whose name appeared to be Paul.

"But still, honey," Paul said as he walked towards Aera, who had stepped behind me. "You can't find my replacement so quickly," he said, mockingly looking at me again.

"This guy is so arrogant," I thought to myself.

"Watch me," Aera said, before grabbing my head and kissing me.
