A little unedited poem penned on my recent travels to Paso Robles
A warm winters day like British summertime
The sun on our backs drinking Californian wine
The band in the garden, patrons dancing in line
The rows and rows of dormant black vines
The scenic route wind whipping through hair
Horses on ranches without a care
Deer under trees, small wooden houses
Painted white among fields of surreal green
This is wine country
Intoxicating dream
Wine Country - photo taken by me of the vineyards at Sculpterra Winery, Paso Robles in January
