"KIDHAR JA RAHI YEH SHAHI SAWARI?"

Like theives caught in the act, they stood frozen at their places.

"Haan ab ekdum shareef sanskaari bacchon ki tarah mudd jao teeno nahi toh mai apne tareeke se teeno ko ghumaunga."

And that is how they reached their present fate.
Standing with their heads hung low infront of the Living Room Couch where sat The Man Of The House himself, Dr. Prithvi Sharma.

Father of Maanvi and Mitansh, Prithvi was a strict disciplinarian. Having lost both his parents as a young boy, he was entirely raised by his Bhaiya and Bhabhi, who had pampered him endlessly. And when destiny played its cruelest game on him, taking away the two people who were his light and life, leaving behind a two year old Medhansh, he had no other choice but to grow up. He toiled day and night, finishing medical school on a full-ride scholarship, all the while taking care of Medhansh all by himself.
Hardwork and perseverance along, today he was running New Delhi's biggest hospital, 'Fortis ki second copy jiska naam abhi maine decide nahi kiya hai' HOSPITAL.

Life for both of them started and ended at each other.
It was only when he started working as a senior Resident that life showed him a glimmer of love when he met Ashmita, who transformed the life of the uncle and nephew into the bliss they where living today.

Prithvi looked at the three culprits infront of him. It was a normal norm for them to find themselves in this arrangement every once a week.

Prithvi- " Toh aaj ki karvyavahi (court proceeding) shuru ki jaye?"

Mitansh muttered looking down- "Kaunsa hamare naa bolne se aap apne court room ki chutti hi kar denge."

Maanvi snickered listening.

Mitansh and Maanvi shared a very friendly relationship with their father. Prithvi too was lenient with them. When he was raising Medhansh, he had no experience of parenting. All that he had was fear. He feared making mistakes in raising his brother's son. He wanted Medhansh to be a good man aand give him the upbringing he got from his Bhaiya. Surprisingly, It wasn't a difficult task because Medhansh was always a mannered child. But with the births of Maanvi and Mitansh he understood giving child space to make mistakes and learn so he did not have rigorous rules with them.
So the two kids always took liberties with their father.

But Medhansh would strongly disagree.
Growing up with his Chachu, he was his everything. His friend, confidante, but most importantly His parent. He never let him run wild. And because of his own fears, he put alot more restrictions on Medhansh. So even at 26 he didnot dare take the liberties his younger siblings did. He wasn't the kind of kid who got in trouble but because of his strict childhood he never could convince himself to cross the line.

Prithvi- " Toh fir bataiye aaj kiska bulb fuse hua jo raat ke 10 baje sheher ka pehra maarne ka idea soojha?"

And very silently, without even raising their heads, Mitansh and Maanvi together pointed their fingers at Medhansh who stood in between the two.
