Nora looked up at the gates of the castle. "Well.. here goes nothing." She braces her herself and walks into the castle. She wonders around trying to find where this so called 'party' was being held, but all that happened was she got lost. "Maybe it's around this corner?" She peaks around the corner a bit, "I just want in a circle! God damn it." She rolls her eyes. "Need help?" A voice came from behind her. She nearly jumped out of her skin, it was the royal guard. From the cafe. "Yeah.." she mumbled softly, "Alright! It's this way." He walked her up the stairs. "Hey, your the lady from the bakery!" He smiled, "I'm Travis, sorry we never formally met that much. I was in a hurry." He continued walking up the stairs with her following behind him. "I'm.. Nora." She mumbled, looking away. "What a lovely name." Travis smiled. "He seemed very.. cheerful. A little too cheerful for a royal guard. But whatever." Nora thought to herself. As they walk down the hall, she looks at all the pictures. "Who's that?" She points to a picture of a man holding a sharp staff thing. He had a big smile and looked kinda creepy. "Oh that? He used to be the king." Travis responds, his voice sounding a bit sad? "Did he die?" Nora questioned. "Yeah, he died. The new king is his son." Travis said continuing to walk. "Hm." Nora thought to herself. They walk into the party, there was music, people dancing and drinking. And it was loud. "Here's the party! Enjoy your night Nora." Travis smiled and walked away. Nora nodded and walked around for a moment. She hated party's. They were always so loud and everyone was mostly drunk, but she came there anyways. Might as well enjoy it. If she can. Nora sat down at a table and looked around. "A lot of people.." she thought. She looked around and didn't see the king at all. "What kind of king doesn't show up to his own-"
Before she could finish her sentence she jumped out of her skin when she noticed the king behind her. "Oh my god! Don't do that!" She yelled, the king raised an eyebrow at her. "My apologies miss. Just wanted to see how you were doing." The king smiled. "Oh god.. I am.. oh my god I am so sorry. I don't like being scared I'm sorry your... highness?" She said the last part as if it was a question. "Please, just call me Akira." Akira smiled. "I don't think I've ever seen you before.. are you from another kingdom?" Akira asked, Nora couldn't help but notice that he had two different colored eyes. One red, one black. She wondered why. "Uhm, no. I'm not I'm from this one. I work in a small bakery around the block from my house." Nora smiles, trying to be friendly but she really didn't want to be here. "Your dress looks very pretty. Definitely suits a pretty girl like you." Akira smiled. Nora blushed a little but looked away to hide it. "Thanks.." she mumbled. "May I dance with you?" As soon as he asked this she turned her head and blushed more. He wanted to dance with her? Why her? "Uhm, no thanks I don't dance." Nora tried to politely decline but Akira wasn't letting it go. "Aw, come on. One dance." Akira smiled, holding his hand out to her. "I'm not even supposed to be here I should just go." Nora went to get up from the chair she was sitting in and walk out but Akira had other plans. He grabs her hand making it so she can't leave. "One dance, and then you may go." He smiled... his smile looked less creepy than the painting of his dad. "I don't bite I promise." Akira chuckled. "One dance?" Nora asked, he nodded. "Fine-" because she could say anything else. The king pulled her onto the dance floor. She blushed a bit but she hid it well. As they danced, she noticed how his pupils looked like skulls. "What's wrong with your eyes?" She asked, "What do you mean?" Akira questioned. "Your eyes.. they are two different colors and.. your pupils look like skulls." She mumbled a bit. "That's just the way I was born." Akira shrugs it off. But Nora still questioned it. She didn't say anything else in case she makes him upset so she just continued dancing with him. "I never got your name." Akira said softly. "Nora." Nora gives a polite smile. "Nora.. I didn't think you could get any prettier but I guess I was wrong." Akira smiled. What's with the compliments? Why didn't he dance with one of the other girls? It didn't make any sense. "I should go now." Nora smiles with a hint of annoyance. "Aw.. well, I guess we did have one dance." Akira lets go of her. "It was very lovely meeting you Nora, may I walk you out?" Akira offers. "No thanks I can"Nora goes to turn around but he places his arm around her shoulder. "Nonsense, a pretty girl like you shouldn't have to walk home all by yourself. Especially at night." Akira winks and chuckles. Nora rolls her eyes. "Whatever." She mumbles. They walk out of the party room. "Travis, shut the party down for me." Akira smiles and walks with Nora.
—————————————————————————When they get downstairs Akira takes Nora a different way than the way she came. "Uh, I know this is your castle but isn't the gate that way?" She points behind her, Akira just laughed. "I know a shortcut." Akira winks and continues walking. "Okay.." she mumbles. "Where is this going?" She wonders. They walk out a door and Nora's eyes light up. There's a beautiful pathway with lights and flowers.Nora smiles, "Woah.. this is.. beautiful." She says as they walk. "This was my mother's favorite part of the castle. Me and her built it." Akira smiles. Nora stops and smells the flowers, they smell so lovely. She smiles. Then she feels something in her hair, she feels it and it's a flower. Nora turns around and looks at Akira and he's smiling. "The flower looks just as beautiful as you do." Akira smiles. Nora blushes a bit, but she smiles back. They continue walking down the pathway. The lights making Nora's light blue eyes shine and sparkle like a star in the sky. Akira couldn't help but blush at her, she was beautiful. Akira looked away though, he knew he couldn't have feelings for her. That he wasn't allowed to. But something about her.. just drew him in.

They arrive at Nora's house finally. Nora walks up to her front door then turns around. "Thanks for walking me home." Nora smiles. "Of course, you have a wonderful night Nora. I hope I'll see you again." Akira smiles and walks away. She watches him walk away and smiles. But she quickly shakes it off when she noticed. She steps inside and Leo is up on the couch. "Nora! Where have you been? It's 1:30am!" Leo asked. "I was at the Royal party." Nora responds. Leo looks shocked. Nora never went to parties. "Oh.. we'll call me next time okay?" Leo smiles. "Night." Leo walks upstairs. "Yeah.." Nora looks away, she walks into her bedroom and changes into pajamas. She lays down in her bed and stares at the ceiling. "What a night.." Nora smiles. She started thinking of the king.. dancing with him... his eyes shining in the light... she shakes her head. "No.. no I-" she sighs. "I'm not gonna fall for stupid king like him." She turns over and tries to sleep but she's having a hard time doing so. But eventually she falls asleep.

"This girl... do you think she likes him?" A random woman speaks to one of her maids. "Of course not your majesty." The maid answers. "I guess we will have to find out won't we?" The random woman dismisses the maid and the maid quickly walks off. "I'll be watching Nora... you better watch your back."
