New queen?

Nora and Akira walked into the castle. "There you guys are!" Travis smiled. "We thought you wouldn't have made it back." Leo chuckled. But then Leo saw Nora's face. "Nora? What's wrong?" Leo asked. "I.. nothing." Nora smiled. "Just tired.." Nora looked away. Nora pushed past Leo and walked away. "What happened?" Travis looks at Akira. "Harper shot herself." Akira said softly. "Oh my god.." Leo covered his mouth. "Poor Nora.." Travis looked down. "I.. should go check on her." Akira walked away from them.

Nora was crying quietly in Akira's bedroom. Akira softly knocked on the door. "Nora..? You alright in there?" He asked. "Yeah! I'm fine!" She called out, trying to sound cheerful. "No you're not. Can I come in?" Akira asked. No answer. Akira sighed and opened the door slowly. Nora was sitting on the bed with her head in her hands. "Oh Nora.." He sat down on the bed. "Come here." He pulled her close to him and hugged her tightly. "I understand how you feel.. seeing a parent die in front of you.. it's not fun." Akira said softly. "Is.. is it bad that.. I love her..?" Nora asked softly, pulling away from the hug. "No, of course not Nora." Akira cupped her cheek with his hand. "She is your mother. It's never a bad thing to love her." He wiped away Nora's tears. "I'm.. so sorry Akira.." Nora sniffed. She looked down as tears fell from her face. "Hey, don't ever be sorry okay?" Akira smiled at her. "Your mother loved you. She just.. had a fucked up way of showing it." Akira looked away for a moment. "I'm a horrible daughter.." Nora choked on her tears. "I t..told.. her to r..rot in hell." Nora sobbed. Akira pulled her close to his chest. "You're not a horrible daughter.. you're just.. human." Akira mumbled. "You're not.." Nora blurted out. Akira sighed. "Yeah.. I'm not." Akira looked down. "What are you?" Nora looked at him. "I'm.. technically... technically I'm a.. demon." Akira looked at Nora. "My father was a demon of darkness. My mother was the demon of light." Akira looked down at his hands. "I'm the demon of shadow. A mixture between light and dark." Akira sighs. "Can I see your horns?" Nora asked. Akira looked at her then looked away. "Promise you won't be scared..?" Akira asked. Nora nodded. "Okay.." Akira stood up and a black and white horn emerged from his dark red hair. "I can change the colors of my horns from all dark to all light and a mixture of both." He showed her his horns changing colors before returning back to their normal color of both dark and light. Nora just stared at the horns. Akira looked away. "I know what you're thinking.." Akira mumbled. "I'm just nothing but a-" Akira was cut off. "You're beautiful.." Nora stood up from the bed. Akira started blushing immediately. "Uhm.. what?" Akira questioned. "You're beautiful." Nora smiled. She reached her hand out and softly touched his demon horns. Akira was shocked. Nobody ever told him he was beautiful since his mother was still alive. Akira could see the sparkle in Nora eyes. Akira grabbed her hand and they both locked eyes with each other. "You shouldn't be afraid of who you are Akira." She mumbled. "I'm not afraid." Nora smiled. Akira smiled back. Then Lilith burst into the room. "Oh my." Lilith said surprised. Nora backed away from Akira as his face went red. "Am I interrupting something?" Lilith gave a smirk. "Shut up Lilith.." Akira looked away rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm gonna go." Nora smiled and walked out of the room.

Nora wandered around the castle til she eventually found a room that had an old looking tv. She saw Travis and Leo sitting on the couch. "Hey lovebirds." Nora teased. "Shut up!" Leo looked away embarrassed, Travis laughed. "Hey Nora, how are you feeling?" Travis asked. "I'm feeling alright. Had a talk with Akira. Did you know he's a demon?" Nora asked. "Yeah, you didn't?" Travis questioned. Leo elbowed Travis in his leg. "Hey!" Travis yelled at Leo. "Of course she didn't know dummy, he never told her til now." Leo rolled his eyes. "You knew to? Oh god." Nora mumbled. "Travis told me." Leo pointed to Travis. "It was an accident! It just came out." Travis crossed his arms. Nora laughed. "You two are weirdos." Nora chuckled. "You're a bigger weirdo for liking a demon." Leo messed with Nora's long blonde hair. "Hey! I do not like him." Nora said. "Not what we heard~" Travis teased. "Shut up!" Nora looked away. "I'm sorry I wasn't around much." Leo apologized. Nora looked at him and sighed. "It's fine. But I missed you a lot." Nora smiled. "Yeah.. me too." Leo stood up and hugged Nora tightly. "Hey, I missed you too Leo!" Travis said acting hurt. "You're an asshole." Leo said bluntly. "Well, that's harsh." Travis looked away. "Weirdo." Leo chuckled as he messed up Travis hair. Travis chuckled.

Lilith walked up to Akira. "So, showed her your horns huh?" Lilith asked. "Yeah.." Akira looked away. "You know I'm not mad at you for telling her right?" Lilith smiled. "Yeah I know.." Akira looked at her with a smile. "Your mother would be proud of you Akira." Lilith placed a hand onto Akira's shoulder. "You know, you should ask her to be queen." Lilith smiled. "What?" Akira went red. "Yeah! I think you two belong together. And you love her, don't you?" Lilith asked. Akira looked down and smiled. "Yeah.. I do love her.." Lilith smiled at his reply. "Then ask her to be queen." Lilith said turning around. "I'll think about it." Akira smiled. Lilith walked out of the room. "I should probably go see what Nora is doing." Akira thought, he stepped out of his room and looked for Nora. He found her chatting with Travis and Leo.

"I'm just a poet Leo, he's a king." Nora said softly. "But he loves you." Travis adds in. "Akira has loved you since the day he met you Nora." Leo smiled at her. Nora sighed. "I know, and that's what sucks because... I love him too." Nora smiles.

Akira presses his back against the wall. "She loves me?" Akira placed his hand onto his heart as it pounded inside his chest. His face felt hot as he blushed. Akira smiled. "Maybe I should ask her to be my queen."
