Nora sat in the kitchen drinking some coffee while re-reading her work. She likes to read her work over and over again looking for any mistakes. "Nora, you've read that like 10 times already. Don't you think you should take a break?" Leo asked softly, Leo always cared for Nora's health. "I'm just making sure there's no mistakes. I mean, I can't publish something that has mistakes in it." Nora sips her coffee. Leo comes up and grabs the book and closes it. "Hey!" Nora looks up. "Come on, you're off work today. Go outside and enjoy your day off." Leo smiles. "Yeah no, I went to a party last night. I think I had enough fun." Nora looks away, "Someone is thinking about the king~" Leo chuckles. "What?! No I'm not! What are you even talking about?" Nora crosses her arms. "Don't play dumb, i heard about your little dance with the king." Leo smiles. "So, how was it? Was he handsome? Did you guys kiss?" Leo smiles as he pours himself a cup of coffee. "No we didn't kiss! And I didn't even want to dance with him." Nora looked away. "And yes he was... a little handsome." Nora mumbles. A small blush appearing on her face. "Oh, so you do like him." Leo leans against the counter and sips his coffee. "No! I don't!" Nora shouts at Leo. But he just laughs. "Okay, whatever you say Nora." Leo walks away with his coffee. "I don't like him!" Nora shouts again. "Whatever you wanna believe!" Leo shouts from upstairs. Nora groans and rolls her eyes.

She walked along a small trail with flowers. She smiled at the flowers. Sometimes she would smell them, and sometimes she would wave to the people that walked by. She walked past a training area where new guards for the kingdom train. She peered inside while she noticed Travis training alone. "That's odd." She thought to herself. "Oh hi Nora!" Travis waved. "Shit." She mumbled when she noticed that he had spotted her. "Whatcha doing here?" Travis asked. Placing a cloth over his shoulder. "Just walking around." Nora smiled. "Did you enjoy the party last night?" Travis asked, "I knew this question was coming." Nora thought. "Yeah, it was... fun." Nora gave a fake smiled then looked away, "I should-" Nora got cut off. "The king wouldn't stop talking about you." Travis blurted out. Nora's face turned a bit red. "Uhm.. excuse me?" Nora questioned. "The king, he said that he really enjoyed dancing and talking with you. He said that you were a really great and beautiful person." Travis chuckled. "He talked about you for almost an hour." Travis smiled, Nora just stood there. She looked away hiding the blush on her face. "Well that's.. very nice of him." She cleared her throat. "I uhm.. should get going now. I have stuff to do." Nora smiled. "Nice talking with you Travis." Nora turned around. "Does this mean we are friends?" Travis asked. Nora turned, "Oh, uhm.." Nora looked at the ground. "Sorry.. I don't have many friends and you are really nice to me so I just.. I thought.." Travis looked down at the ground. "No it's.. it's fine Travis. I guess I would consider you a friend." Nora smiled. A genuine smile. Travis looked up and smiled widely. "Thanks." Travis said softly. Nora nodded. She turned around and walked away. "He isn't so bad I guess." Nora thought to herself.

Later on that evening, Nora banged her head on her desk. "Can't think of a poem idea huh?" Leo said leaning against the wall. "Shut up." Nora said angered. Leo shrugged. "Maybe instead of trying to find ideas, we should think of what's for dinner. I'm starving." Leo looks at Nora. "There's food in the fridge isn't there?" Nora asked while lifting her head up from her desk. "No, because someone forgot to do the shopping." Leo gives Nora a sarcastic smile. "I'm sorry! I had other things to do." Nora looked away. "It's fine, we can just order something. But you're paying since you forgot the groceries." Leo walks over to the kitchen and grabs the phone. Nora groans and lays her head back onto the table. Nora then hears a knock on the door. "Is the food already here?" Nora turned around and asked Leo. "Can't be, I just placed the order." Leo looked at the door. "I'll check." Leo walks up to the door and opens it. Nora watches as Leo smiles then closes the door. "It's for you." Leo says to Nora with a smirk. "What did you do?" Nora asked as she got up. Leo smirked and just walked away from the door. Nora walked up to the door and opened it. "Hi Nora." It was the king! And he was soaked in rain water. "Oh uhm.. hi? How did you find my house?" Nora asked. "Travis knows where you live." Akira said softly. "Oh so I'm being stalked now?"  Nora raised an eyebrow and leaned up against the doorframe. "No that's- I'm not stalking you. But I did what to deliver something to you." Akira pulled out an envelope from his pocket and handed it to Nora. "What's this?" She asked as she opened it. "It's a party invitation. A special one. Only royals are invited. But I wanted to personally invite you." Akira smiled. Nora stared at the party invite. "Uhm... I-uhm. Thanks.?" Nora looked up. "Have a great night." Akira smiled and walked away, Nora closed the door. "Ooo~ what did he give you?" Leo asked walking up to Nora. "A personal party invite to a party full of royal people." Nora mumbled still staring at the invitation. "You gonna go?" Leo asked. "What? No! I mean.. no. I'm not going." Nora threw the invite in the trash. "I went to one of his stupid parties and it was horrible. I'm not going to this one." Nora crossed her arms. "But this is a party full of royals! You're gonna be the only village girl there! The king himself personally invited you a village girl to a party full of royals! That's a good thing." Leo smiles. "It's not. I don't want to go, so leave it alone." Nora looked away. Leo frowned. "Sorry." Leo apologized. "I really think you should go Nora. I mean, it's kinda sweet that he invited you." Leo smiled, he walked upstairs and went into his room. Nora sighed. She looked at the invitation that lies in the trash can. "No, I'm not going." Nora walked upstairs and went into her bedroom. She sighed and changed into her pajamas. She got into her bed and laid there for a moment. "Why would he invite me? I'm just a poet who lives in the village." Nora thought to herself. She shook her head then laid on her side facing the wall. She closed her eyes so she can fall asleep.

Nora walks downstairs and opens the trash can. She grabs the invitation to the party. "I think it's kinda sweet that he invited you." Leo's words echoed on her head. "Damnit."
