Jeff's POV
I rushed through the thick bush, dodging trees, sticks and rocks. As I came to the clearing the sight in front of me slowly unfolded in my mind.
The first thing I noticed was Skylar sprawled on her side with blood dripping from her neck, and a small line from which drew the blood. I was about to rush to her side to help her when my eyes traced down Skykar's limp body, finding another feminine figure standing at her feet.
Jane.
Blood dripped from her blade from were she lightly sliced Skylar's throat.
My blood boiled over meeting Jane once again. My eyes shot from Jane when I heard Skylar utter something, "Jeff..?"
And after that her head completely dropped and I assumed she was unconscious. My gaze returned to Jane and I began glaring at her.
"Jeffrey!" She exclaimed. I growled at the mentioning of my name. She sounded so excited at my being here. But then again, it is Jane, and I did kind of kill her family so it does it make perfect sense.
I reached for my knife, readying it in my hand with a firm grip. I gave Jane a deadly glare, and lunged with all I had.

Skylar's POV
My eyes slowly fluttered open as I came to and I was met with a white ceiling. I sat up at lightening speed which wasn't the greatest idea. A huge throbbing pain erupted throughout my head and I clenched my fists from the pain, holding my head.
After a few minutes, the pain left and I opened my eyes looking around.
I was in my bedroom?
How did I get here?
I sat in confusion until I began to remember the previous events. They all began replaying in my mind; Jane attacking me, falling unconscious and.. Jeff.
Did I really see Jeff?
I threw off my covers and I gradually stood up, making my way to the hallway. The lights were off except for the small beams coming from the living room and the sounds of the TV.
I tiptoed down the stairs and into the living room, seeing no other than Jeff crashed on the couch with the TV blaring. I scurried around for the remote and turned the TV off, causing Jeff to wake up.
"Skylar, you're up." He groaned as he sat up. I ignored him and made my way to the kitchen, making myself a cup of coffee and sandwich. I was still annoyed at him. "Sky, I'm sorry." I slammed my fists on the counter, clenching the knife I was holding.
Something suddenly snapped inside me and I pushed Jeff up against the wall with a force I never knew I had, pressing the kitchen knife into in throat.
"Never, and I mean never, call me Sky!" I shrieked. He looked confused and furious at the same time but I held my ground.
A smile formed on his face, over his permanent one and I released my grip slightly.
Jeff quickly pushed my arm away, causing me to drop the knife. I don't even know how he did it but I ended up on my back on the cold tiles with Jeff sitting on top of me, straddling me.
"Get the fuck off me!" I screamed clawing at his face and squirming underneath his weight. He grabbed my wrists and forced them down to the floor.
We stayed in that position for what felt like hours, studying each other's faces until Jeff stood up and began to walk back the living room.
I jumped up and groaned at the pain that shot through my head once again.
