Skylar's POV
"Sky.. Wake up." I hear a voice say and feel a gentle push on my shoulder.
I groan and sleepily open my eyes seeing Masky standing next to me. I sit up and realise I'm on my bed. I look across and see that it's 10pm, I look down and see my hands with a thick red liquid on them and my clothes are covered in it too.
"What the..." I mumble.
Then, it all comes flooding back to me.
My mum, she's gone.
"Sky, we have to leave." Masky instructs.
"C-can I cl-clean myself up first?" I ask and he nods. I jog to the bathroom and take a nice, warm and quick shower.

Masky's POV
Pure anger and guilt is all I feel. I'm angry at Jeff for doing this. I'm angry at Jeff because of how heartless he was and how unmerciful he was. I feel guilty and I'm angry at myself because I wasn't here to keep Skylar's mother safe. It's just so messed up.
I grab a few duffle bags from Skylar's closet and begin filling them with clothes and her necessary things.
Hairbrush, toothbrush, ect. It may sound crazy, but I'm planning on bringing her back to Slender Mansion with me. I know for sure that if she's there, she will be safe. I mean, Jeff lives there but I'll be there also.
To protect her.
I hear the shower turn off and moments later, Skylar steps out with a towel draped around her.
"I'll quickly get changed." She mumbles. Her eyes are red and full of tears and I can tell she's still shaken up. Honestly, how could she not be? She just lost her mother for Christs sake.
I nod and exit her room, leaving her to get changed.

Skylar's POV
Once I'm dressed and have all my bags packed, I walk downstairs to see Masky waiting patiently in the living room.
"So uh, where are we going?" I ask, remembering that I forgot to ask him earlier.
"You'll know it when you see it." He replies, grabbing my duffel bag from beside me. We then proceed to the door and start walking into the forest.
For about 15 minutes of walking in the wood, I stayed silent and quietly cried to myself, staying behind Masky so he wouldn't notice.
I'm still shaken up and upset about the earlier events. I mean, who wouldn't be?
I wipe my face and speed up to walk beside Masky. "You okay?" He asks, looking over his shoulder. Which he has my bag slung over also.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I reply with a sniffle.
"Don't worry, we're almost there." He reassures me. I look up at the sky and I can tell that it's really late at night.
Looking up at the shimmering stars and breathing in the cool, fresh air. I release a loud yawn and hug myself from the sudden chill.
"You tired?" Masky asks, stopping and placing my bag on the ground. I nod and yawn again. "Here, hop up." He offers, bending over to signal a piggyback.
I tottle over and jump on his back, wrapping my legs around his waist and him holding my thighs to keep me up.
He picks up my bag and we start walking again. I rest my head on his back and slowly drift to sleep.
*~*~*~*
My eyes slowly flutter open as I awake from my slumber. As soon as my eyes are fully open, I'm met with 2 green eyes staring straight at me, hovering above me.
"Hi!" The person shouts followed by a giggle. I scream and shoot up, noticing I'm on an unfamiliar couch.
"Hey, it's okay. No need to be scared!" The voice repeats with yet another giggle. I look to my right to see a small girl maybe 7 or 8, dressed in a pink dress with long, brown, curly hair, big green eyes a wide smile.
"Ah, wha... Where am I?" I question, confusion washing over me.
"At Slendy's mansion of course!" She recites excitedly.
I look around and see I'm in a living room/lounge room. I'm sitting up on a large beige L-shape couch. A large TV unit sits in front of me, surrounded by gaming consoles and various games.
Behind me is a wide space with a small door up the back. To my left is an open doorway leading into what seems to be hallway and a kitchen directly opposite.
I turn back to the little girl to see her staring intently at me. "I'm Sally!" She giggles.
"Skylar, but.. You can call me Sky if you want." I reply, getting a large grin in return. The air is filled with a sudden awkwardness so I decided to break it.
"Is uh, is Masky here?" I question.
"Yes, he's upstairs!" Sally replies. I stand up to go look for him but Sally steps in front of me.
I look down at her, "But!"
Her face turns very serious.
"He's in a secret meeting with Slendy and I've been instructed to watch over you." She says sternly.
"Just until they're finished." She adds and I nod.
"Want me to show you around?" Sally questions, looking up at me. I nod again and watch as the little girl takes my hand gently and starts leading me around the large mansion, showing me where everything is.
*~*~*~*
I plop down on the couch next to Sally once she's finished showing me around. We've gotten to know each other really well I guess.
We continue to talk about things when I see a figure walk into the living room out of the corner of my eye. I turn my head to see Masky walking over. "M
"Hey Sky, you're up?" I nod.
"I have been for a while now, Sally has been showing me around while we waited." I reprimand. He nods and sits next to me while Sally skips off to do who knows what.
I hang my head low, "Thank you." I mumble, barely above a whisper.
"What for?" Masky enquires. I lift my head up and look at him in the eyes, (even though he has his mask on) and reply.
"Everything. Just...everything." I hang my head low once again and feel Masky wrap his arms around me and swallow me into his warm embrace.
We stay like that for what seems like forever until we hear the front door open and a loud ruckus begins.
