Chapter Six

Skylar's POV

I walked inside with a slight skip in my step. I skipped into the kitchen to see mum hadn't cooked dinner, or she did but cleaned the mess up and left me to go hungry. I looked at the clock, 10:37 pm?

"What the fu-" I started but was interrupted by a series of bangs, it was coming from above me. Which only led me to one though, mums bedroom is directly above the kitchen. She must be having one of her drunken one night stands with some random low-life she met at the bar. It's happened before.

I really didn't want to have to listen to that all night so I grabbed my jacket and phone and headed for the door. It was quite chilly outside so I'm glad I brought my jacket.

The moonlight lit up the path in front of me and I hummed the little tune from the movie 'Coraline'.

I enjoyed the peace and quiet I was surrounded by. As I reached a clearing I stopped and glared into the forest, my feet taking steps closer and closer. I don't know what but something was just dragging me in. I let the urge win and disappeared into the dense forest.

After about 10 minutes of just silent walking I stopped and looked around. "Fuck, I have no idea where I am." I didn't panic, I had my phone if I couldn't find my way back. I reached into my pocket so I could call my mother. I pressed the on button and the 'charge me' icon showed. "Are you fucking kidding me?!" I screamed in frustration.

"Lost are ya?" I jolted at the sound of the feminine voice.

Jeff's POV

I awoke from my slumber, forcing my body up. I looked to my large window only to see it was dark out. Fuck, how long did I sleep for? I totally disregarded the thought and headed downstairs. It was around 10:30 and I was surprised to see Slender still up.

"Hey Slendy.." I said with a sigh as I sat at the counter. "Hello my child." He replied cheerily. I sat in silence as Slendy fiddled around with whatever he was doing. Gosh I feel like an asshole. Wait, I am an asshole. I need to fix this. I stood up and started to leave without a word, "Where are you going?" Slendy asked. "Out. There's something I need to do." Slender just nodded in response.

I began to walk to Skylar's home, I mean, that's where she most likely is. As I wondered through the forest I could've sworn I hear a shout or something in the distance.

Me being the curious idiot I am, chose to follow the shouts. I identified the yell as a girl when I heard them scream, "Are you fucking kidding me?!" They shouted. Wait, I know that voice! "Skylar." I said out loud. I began follow the direction of the voice, turning into a sprint when I heard a blood curdling scream. Skylar's.. Blood curdling scream.

Skylar's POV

"Lost are ya?" I jolted at the sound of the feminine voice.

I turned to see a girl about my age, Se had long thick black hair. She wore a white hoodie and black skinny jeans. She looked like Jeff except a girl version and without the burnt off eyelids and carved smile. She stood there with a wide grin on her face and she was holding a knife by her leg in her right hand.

I tried not to show fear as I spoke, "U-uh, yeah. I guess I am." She chucked and shook her head. She started to walk closer to me, getting right up in my face. "What's your name?" She questioned glaring at me. "Skylar." I replied confidently.

She chuckled again, this time even more evil than last time. "So you're Jeff's little play thing!" She sounded excited.

"Um excuse me?" Play thing?"

Before I could re-instate my question, she flattened me onto my back and pressed her knife to my throat. I let out the loudest scream I possibly could, so loud my throat hurt. Everything started turning black and I vaguely saw another figure appear from the bushes.

"Jeff..?" I whispered, as my vision slowly blacked.
