(A/N):

Skylar has a huge rant at the end, just a warning! So be prepared! I hope this chapter changes things and gets my story back on track.

*~*~*~*

I am currently pacing around in my room, thinking about yesterday. I didn't want to have to leave Masky. And I especially didn't want to see him so soon. I was waiting to go visit him when I was ready, not because Jeff was a stuck up asshole who has to call Slendy and Masky.

I wasn't ready to see them and I know I've angered Masky by leaving without a proper explanation. That's the guilty side of me. The angry side of me, is completely involving Jeff.

He pisses me off to no end. He had no right to tell Slendy and Masky about where I was, let alone bring them to me.

I couldn't remember the last time I've been so angry. I needed a kill, but I had a feeling Masky would be waiting for me to go out. I can't face him again, not yet. God knows how he's feeling right now.

My mind floats back to Jeff and his stupidity and selfishness.

A knock on my door interrupts my thoughts and I snap my head in that direction.

"Come in." I growl I annoyance.

The maid walks in, "I have brought you some fresh towels, is there anyth- oh my, Miss, your eyes..." She trails and her own eyes widen.

I jog into the bathroom, staring at myself in the mirror. My eyes have gone a vibrant red, as they always do when I'm angry.

It shows that I'm nearly at my breaking point. I can also control when they turn red, meaning I can purposely turn them red. On and off like a switch.

I let out an angry yell and throw my fist at the mirror, sending it flying into millions of pieces. I squeal when I stand on the pieces of glass, and they become lodged in the sole of my feet.

"Skylar!" I hear a voice coming from the room next door. Tears are about to spill from my eyes.

"I'm fine!" I shriek back. Obviously, Shadow can't take a hint so he comes barging into the bathroom.

"Fuck, what did you do?" He asks calmly and picks me up bridal style.

He sets me down on the small cabinet I have in my room and holds his hands to my feet. Minutes later, the pain eases away and my feet are completely healed.

"I could've done that myself. I do have healing powers." I mumble, knowing that Shadow would hear me.

Shadow and I worked on healing the afternoon we returned yesterday and it comes in handy.

"Sky, just calm down. Your eyes are red again." He states and I nod, closing my eyes and takin deep breaths.

Once I've calmed down, I open my eyes and Shadow nods, letting me know that they're back to normal.

Jumping off the cabinet, I sink into my large bean bag chair and sigh. I feel the bag dip next to me and peek my eye open, seeing Shadow lying next to me.

"Thank you." I whisper and he nods in response.

"No worries." He curtly answers.

After a few minutes of silence, I groan and sit up on my elbows and begin pacing around my room. It's never an awkward silence with Shadow. We could just sit for hours and not even say a word to each other.

"Sky, what's gotten you so riled up? Is it what happened yesterday?" Shadow sits up also and crosses his legs beneath him. He knows me so well.

I nod and sit next to him, leaning my head on his shoulder.
