A new day in school and I wasn't suprised that I wanted to stay home. Same shit, the difference is today is different day. But I knew that the teachers will be the same dickheads and won't care about anything. This is the main reason I wanted to stay home today, but my mother insisted on me going in today and I did, just like she asked.

I waited for the bus with my siblings in the cool morning air, whising I'd have a car of my own and I don't have to wake up so early and wait for a bus that was always late. After like five to ten minutes of not showing up, the vehicle turned the corner and came into view. When it stopped in front of us with a loud puff adn the doors were opened by the driver, we got up on it with the kids, taking a seat at our usual spot. I listened to music, putting on my favourite artist and shut the world out like I usually do, while we arrived in front of the school complex.

The middle and the highschool, here in Portland was at the same place, the building were built together, but no one could go to the other parts. High schoolers needed to stay at their section and the younger ones too. This was the policy.

So we parted with the twins at the door and I went into the building. The first person I saw was my best friend, Matt. Leaning against our lockers he was on his phone, not noticing I had arrived. Walking up to him a snatched his mobile out of his hands. Snapping his head up, first his expressions were angry, he opened his mouth to shout, but he saw it was me, so I just earned a fist on my shoulder.

'What's up man?' Matt asked taking his phone back from me, sliding it inside his pocket he looked at me.

'All good, you?' I asked back, standing in front of him with my hands in the pocket of my hoodie.

'Same, waiting for Tessa to finally arrive.' my best friend grinned and I couldn't help, but smile too, because I saw Matt's and Tessa's relationship and they were better together, that's for sure.

'So the new girl is coming today right?' I asked, because it was something that I had on my mind ever since Tessa told us about her and how she's her best friend and stuff. By description, she seems nice, but we fell hard countless times when Tessa said someone was nice, so I'll be careful around this girl that's for sure. Don't want any suprises.

'Mila?' Matt said, staring ahead of him, recalling the day when Tessa told us when her best friend will come to school. 'Yeah, I think Tessa said she'll start today.' he nodded. 'Why you asking, I thought you are not intrested in her.'

'Yeah, you're right I'm not, because I don't even know one thing about her.' I told my best friend, frowing when he thought I asked about Mila because I was intrested in her.

'But she seems nice by Tessa's words.' Matt smiled. 'Just like your type.'

'First, I don't have a type, and second, whe do we ever give on Tessa's words?!' I quiestioned, knowing that Matt would agree, despite the fact, that Tessa's his girlfriend. 'I just asked if she's coming today, don't go too deep.'

'Okay Mr.ThoughLove, no need to snap, I just thought you'd finally let go of your pride and try in on with someone.' Matt explained, holding his hands up in defense. 'You never had a girlfriend before and you never talked about any, that's why assumed, you might be intrested in Mila.'

'Well I'm not, so you can let go.' I told him, feeling a little anger build up inside of me, eventhough I knew what Matt said was true. Never in my life had someone ever heard me yapping about girls, that's why my best friend asked me a millions quiestions why I seemed to show intrest all of a sudden.

The topic was dropped, just like I asked, but we found other things to talk about. For example the lacrosse match played in the weekend, where Portland won against Washington. It was a really great match and only with one point did Portland win, but no suprises here, Portland is the home of lacrosse.
