Caroline was sat by the river with her arms wrapped around her legs, looking down at the water as she attempted to relax as she's barely got any sleep last night because of Jasper who had been screaming and moaning in pain keeping everyone up who was annoyed they didn't get any sleep. Caroline was worried about Jasper as she knew without proper medicine to help his wound she didn't know if Jasper would survive this or not.

Once the sun began to rise Caroline decided to leave Hannah in their tent and go on a walk to get her mind of Jasper and everything that had happened lately. She came across a river that didn't have any giant snakes in it and enjoyed the peace and quiet without anyone bothering her. Since the others had rescued Jasper he hasn't gotten any better if anything he's gotten worse and while Caroline felt for the boy as she didn't want to see him suffer as he was one of her friends but she knew the others didn't see it that way.

Caroline grabbed her necklace opening the locket smiling as she looked at the photo inside of her mother who was holding her as a baby rubbing her thumb against the photo, " Hi, Mom. I just realized how you're never going to experience what it's like down here on earth. I just wish you were still here with me because it sucks. I have no idea what I'm doing and I can't do this alone. I'm pregnant..."

"I'll spare you the details of how it happened because, honestly, I'm sick of talking about it and I know if you ever met James you would have hated him just like dad did. But this is happening, I used to picture us having this conversation" Caroline smiled sadly stroking her swollen stomach, " it looked different, obviously. That you was still here helping me through every step of the way but it's been years since you've died. This is my responsibility, you know? And I want to... I have to do this right. I don't want it to be brought up like I was. Thinking I was a mistake someone who should have never been born because of how diffident I was. You once said I was extraordinary but all I want to do is go back in time and have one last moment with you."

Caroline couldn't help but laugh sadly wiping away her tears, " I don't even remember the last thing I said to you. But what I do imagine is us sitting on our kitchen counter while you burn our dinner and ask you a million questions. God, I miss you. Nothing been the same with me or dad since you died" suddenly the sound of a branch snapping was heard causing the blonde to stand up as she looked around, " Hello? Hannah, is that you?"

The Kane teen received no response causing her to put her necklace back on before making her way back to camp not noticing the pair of eyes that was watching her from afar. Caroline made her way back to camp when the sound of Jasper groaning and moaning loudly echoed through the camp causing her eyes to widened as she rushed passed Atom, Bellamy and Hannah making her way towards the drop ship and climbed up the ladder towards the upper level where Jasper was with Clarke by his side attending to his wounds not noticing that Wells followed after the blonde girl.
