- The Calm

It had been a week since the bomb had destroyed the bridge, and there has been no sign of any grounders the blonde hasn't seen Lagertha since she had to say goodbye and recruit more warriors from her village. Caroline didn't blame the blonde women at all knowing she had to do what was best for her people and just hoped that one day they would be able to make peace between their people but right now she doesn't see that happening any time soon as they've attacked them ever since they've arrived on the ground.

Especially with the sky people setting off the bomb on the bridge as it was only suppose to be the bridge like Finn suggested but Jasper came boosting about how they have killed some of the grounders which was why Bellamy was making sure that everyone knew how to use a gun making sure someone is on watch at all times knowing that the grounders would be coming and more pissed than they're already are, the blonde had kept mostly to herself helping out when she could keeping watch or helping around camp but Bellamy wouldn't let her do any heavy stuff since her due date is approaching and need this place to be secure for when it happens.

"First watch is over. Go relieve Monroe on the south wall. Keep your eyes open" Caroline looked over her shoulder to see Bellamy handed one of the delinquents a gun before he turned around looking up at Caroline from where she was standing looking in the direction she was staring at, " anything?" Bellamy curiously questioned his eyes connecting with her blue ones as she shook her head in response, " no sign of any grounders. It's been a week Clarke thinks that the bomb at the bridge scared them off for good"

"And what do you believe?" Bellamy questioned raising his brows only for Caroline to let out a sigh placing her hands on her hips, " I think they're gonna be pissed and been planning something big. They're coming I have a bad feeling about this" Bellamy stayed silent as he stared at the side of her face before walking down the small hill, " Jasper thinks he can cook up some more gun powder, if he gets some sulfur, and raven says she can turn that into landmines so be careful where you step"

Caroline was following behind Bellamy when she stumbled a bit causing Bellamy to catch grabbing her arms steading her only for her to playfully hit his chest, " Ha! You're so funny!" Bellamy walked around a tree with a grin on his face at the blonde beauty before a serious expression appeared on his face, " what I really need is a thousand more of her tin can bombs I can roll into their village and blow those grounders to hell" Caroline shook her head shooting him a deadpanned look, " that's what they want to do to us"

"Some of the grounders are innocent, Bellamy. They have children. We only attack when they attack us" Caroline stated trying to get Bellamy to see her point of view, " I can't believe we survived a hundred years just so we could slaughter each other. There has to be another way" Bellamy sighed with a sympathetic look knowing how much she's been stressing out about this on going war with the grounders knowing how skilled there are and even with guns most of the delinquents don't know how to fight or even use a gun properly, " any word from the Ark?"
