"I'm sorry," Tyson croaked, looking down as if he was watching something inappropriate. He felt like it was, seeing Brooklyn being held by Sammy.

Seeing Brooklyn being held by Sammy like that definitely hurt him, especially when it seemed like Sammy had been trying to help him get with Brooke. It was like he was a high school girl. Was he really that naïve? Brooklyn was there not too long ago and she wasn't even that gullible.

Besides, everyone knew Sammy was the better choice.

No wonder Brooklyn didn't watch his match. He screwed it all up when he abandoned her. But Brandi's accusations back in the gorilla? That didn't sound like Brooklyn. Brooklyn loved Brandi, and she loved her job. She couldn't go back on Brandi, not like she accused.

The whole 'she's too young for this' bullshit was starting to really piss him off. It was why he went to find her. But he was too late.

Immediately, Tyson turned back towards the door and left. He hadn't had a plan of where he was going, but he needed to breathe. His chest felt tight, and his head was even a little dizzy.

"Tyson," the angelic voice spoke from behind.

Brooklyn followed him. That didn't make any sense; not when Sammy was in that locker room.

"I should have knocked. It's not my place to walk into your locker room unannounced like that," Tyson answered, still walking and not daring let the blonde catch up.

"You never knock, Ty. No one does. I have my own space to change for a reason," Brooke countered, jogging to keep up with his pace.

Tyson shook his head, his curly hair flipping side to side as sweat continued to roll down his upper body. Yet, he couldn't feel colder. "I shouldn't even attempt to take liberties with you, Brooke. Besides, now that I know you're willing to move on to Sammy the second I break your heart knowing the two of you share a locker room will continuously remind me that he's the better match for you."

"Tyson, whatever are you talking about?"

Brooke ran in front of him, stopping him in his tracks. He sighed, finally looking down at the girl. The beautiful girl. His body stiffened, trying to remain impartial, but she made it hard.

He forever hated himself for how much she pulled him in without even trying.

"How long have you and Sammy been together?" he asked, bluntly. The Canadian native was shocked by his accusatory tone to the smaller woman.

Her eyes immediately furrowed as she shrugged in utter confusion. "Together?" she asked, to which he nodded. She continued, scoffing, "Tyson, I already told you that I want you. If you knew me at all, you would know that I don't move on quick. Especially with a guy like Sammy."
