A smiling, bright Brooklyn Irvine found herself following her father down the long hallways of the official headquarters for all things AEW. She continually turned her head from side to side as more doors appeared, many of the rooms only giving the petite woman a headache because business stressed her out. There were many things that the Jericho clan was good at, but dealing with an office job was not one of them. They were there to wrestle and collect their coins; nothing more, nothing less.

Today was a special day; not only because Brooke was wearing a dress rather than her usual jeans and graphic tees, but because she would be signing an official contract with the newest professional wrestling company in the world. She had known for a while that AEW would be her first step in fulfilling her dream, however they couldn't make it official until she graduated high school, per her late-mother's request. It had been a long time in the making, and Brooklyn couldn't be more excited to finally begin to do what she had always dreamed of.

It hadn't always been easy for her. The idea that Brooklyn was the daughter of Chris Jericho made many believe that she would be handed her opportunities and given the attention she received. However, the blonde made it apparent that she wanted to try-out for the company and prove to all of the suits and ties that she belonged there and could elevate the women's division. Of course, after a long day of training from Dustin with plenty of other's watching on like Cody, Matt, Nick, Brandi, Tyson, and the officials like Tony Khan, everyone agreed that Brooklyn was ready.

"Are you sure you're ready to do this?" Chris asked, grabbing his daughters arm and stopping her in the hallway. He was concerned about his daughter's willingness to jump into the wrestling business, especially because she was so young. After Jessica's passing, he began to inherit the paranoid worry over his daughter as he wanted to protect her and couldn't once her name was everywhere.

She gave her father a reassuring smile. "Dad, I have never wanted anything other than this," she answered, sincerely. Continuing, she said, "yes, I'm sure."

Taking a deep breath, Chris admired the beautiful, young woman his daughter had become in her short eighteen years on the planet. He would forever be proud of her for everything she has accomplished in her life, and only yearned that his wife could be here one more time to see Brooklyn Irvine make all of her dreams come true and her hard work pay off.

"Okay," he finally nodded, pulling his daughter into a much-needed hug and kissing her hair. There was no doubt that Brooke inherited her mother's appearance with her petite, five feet tall frame and small features, sometimes making him tear up because with Brooklyn—Jessica was always there.

Neither of them had realized that another was walking towards the same room as them, their footsteps suddenly stopping as they looked up from their phone and realized that the two were in the way. The blonde-haired male tucked his phone into his pocket and adjusted his suit as the father-daughter duo pulled away.
