...

"Your firescales," she gasped, "Where did they go?"

"Aloe got rid of them, but.. Ace.. he- he didn't make it."

"You're- you're just joking, right?", Leopard tried to laugh, "He's just in a separate cell, or talking to Emberblaze, or.."

Firestorm shook her head. Leopard choked out a sob and Firestorm put her wing around her.

"You're going to be okay," she whispered. She felt the others' sorrow as well.

"We need to find a way out of here," Snowstar said confidently, while also trying to change the subject.

"Agreed," Aloe nodded.

"Can't you just magic us out of here?", Destiny grumbled, "You have all that power and yet we're still stuck in here."

Aloe shot a glare at her. "Do you want me to lose my soul, you selfish blob of camel spit?"

"Do you want another one of us to die? To be tortured to death? Just magic yourself away if you hate us that much," she growled, "And you're calling me selfish."

"Can you shut it?", Aloe snapped.

Destiny was quick to counter. "Can you be useful for once?"

"You're impossible, did you know that?", Aloe was nearly screaming now.
"CALM DOWN!", yelled Snowstar, "You do not need to yell right now. There are more important things going on."

Destiny and Aloe glared for a short moment at each other before sitting back down.

Snowstar glanced over to Seabreeze, "We need to do something. Seabreeze isn't going to make it if we don't escape."

"Maybe if Aloe wasn't so stubborn then Seabreeze would be fine and we'd be out of here," Destiny mumbled.

"Maybe if Destiny would quit making little comments about me then maybe we'd get out of here quicker."

"Aloe. Destiny," Snowstar cleared her throat.

"Fine," they both responded in unison.

"Now let's get to work," the IceWing/NightWing hybrid smiled.
