"We're back!", Leopard called, but was met with no answer.

"Where are they?", Firestorm asked Leopard quietly. It felt like they were being watched. The smoke from the campfire was still there, but the fire had mostly gone out. The whole camp looked deserted. Firestorm would have thought they were just hunting— until she saw a smashed bowl of soup on the ground. Gila would never leave a bowl of soup behind. Something was wrong here.

"I don't know.. Hey, look! There's an arrow with a piece of paper on that tree!", Leopard said as she pointed to a tree close to the edge of the cliff. Leopard grabbed the piece of paper off of the arrow and began to read it aloud.

Leopard,

I know you are reading this wondering where we are. Emberblaze sent her dragons to capture you and I— but when I told her that you were not with us, the skywings destroyed the camp and we all fled. As I am writing this I can feel myself being watched. They are coming. Flee the camp and do not search for me. I will find you eventually.

"Must he always be so vague!?", Leopard growled in annoyance, her scales shifting to a scarlet red, "Like, I don't know, at least TELL US WHERE HE WAS?"

"Red mean anger," Firestorm whispered to herself, a bit too loud.

"What?", Leopard turned around to look at her.

"Your scales. Red scales mean you're angry. I don't know why I didn't realize that before— hey, unrelated, but what do pink scales mean?"

"Uhh.. annoyed. You are uh, very.."

"Awesome?"

"Yeah, let's go with that."
