"Please don't tell me that we're lost," Firestorm sighed as both her and Leopard landed on the ground.
"What? No, I've traveled around the continent hundreds of times. I know exactly where we—", she paused, looking around, "Never mind. We are lost."
"Oh COME ON!", Firestorm groaned, "Not againnnn."
"What's do you mean 'not again'? This is the first time we have ever been lost."
"Well yeah, not you and me specifically, but my older sister Hellfire used to get us lost all the time when we went exploring. She was stubborn and didn't like to admit when we were lost, so we always got more lost. We once were lost in the woods for five whole days before we were found by a leafwing traveler— Lavender, I think? That was her name. I still visit her sometimes. She's very nice."
"Oh, cool! Ace and I were always on the move, so any friends I did make, I never really saw them again. The only one I really remember was a seawing called Kelp. Very sweet dragon. The problem was that our next target was his aunt, so that didn't go very well.."
"I know Kelp!", called a voice, and Firestorm realized where it was coming from as a blueish purple seawing ran up to them.
Leopard bared her teeth, growling at the slightly shorter seawing as she inched a bit closer to Firestorm, however, still keeping her distance so that she wouldn't be burned.
"Who are you, seawing?", Leopard hissed, her scales turning bright red and orange.
"Princess Trout of the Seawings, of course! Can't you tell by my wings?", she bragged as she spread her wings, showing of her royal markings, "You're not lost, right? That would be crazy. Okay fine, I listened in on your conversation."
"You- you what?", Leopard looked surprised and angry at the same time.
"Yeah, I have a habit of eavesdropping. Anyways, where do you need to go? I know the whole Sea Kingdom like the back of my claw!"
"I think we can find our way back on our own, thank you," Firestorm said confidently, "In fact, I think I see the smoke of our campfire right now. Goodbye."
"Oh, alright then, goodbye!," Trout said, taking off and flying back to wherever she came from.
As her and Leopard flew back to camp, she couldn't shake the thought of that seawing.. Could they be the one from the prophecy?
