Emmaline POV:

My thoughts were not my own. I was in a trance. My mind wasn't stable. I had to find someone, anyone. And I was so, so, hungry. I needed to eat. Food. I need food. I slowly approach what looks like a town, a village, perhaps. But it looked so ... different. What was this? Why could I not think straight? Was I still sleeping?

Sleeping.

Sleeping, I called it. But it was no sleep. It was a trap, which I was struggling to escape for what felt like an eternity. My mind was racing with many thoughts. But then I stopped. Damon and Stefan.

Where were they? Were they okay? How did I end up like this? And where on earth could I get new clothes.

I analysed my clothing: filthy. How did I let my clothes get so disgusting? But most importantly, where the hell am i? I suddenly spot someone in the distance, I try to call out to them, but my throat still aches. Luckily, they turn around and see me waving my arms, and they both run towards me. I can suddenly hear everything. I can hear their hearts racing as they run towards me. I can see everything. I can see the sweat dropping down the gentleman's face as it falls onto his carotid artery. I have the urge to lunge at him, but I manage to restrain myself. He hands me a bottle of water, I snatch it out of his hand and swallow, swallow, and swallow until it's all gone. I feel my throat clear up ever so slightly as I look him in the eye and begin to speak,

"Where can I get some food?" I manage to spit out. I feel like I haven't eaten in forever. And I'm so hungry.

He stares back at me, speaking in a monotone voice, "At the mystic grill down the road." The lady looks at him slightly confused as to why he was speaking that way, but I couldn't resist it anymore. I had to eat. I must eat.

Without warning, I lunge for his neck and bite into it as I feel the warmth of his body liquid flow into my mouth. I first found myself disgusted with what I was doing, but I couldn't stop. Startled by the screams of the woman, I drop his body and turn to face her. I feel different. I feel amazing. I smile.

The woman looks at me, petrified. "What are you?" She's asks, her voice trembling.

"I have no idea, darling. But something tells me you're next to die," I say as I grab her before she gets the chance to run. I felt my teeth extend before I lunged into her neck. She tastes amazing. Her screams echo through the forest, but I didn't care. I kept drinking out of her until I heard something drop.

I felt my face morph into shock as I watched her head rock back and forth on the floor. I drop her body and analyse my surroundings. Two dead bodies. I killed them. And the worst part? I wanted more.
( AN: I wanted her to be a good mix of her brothers, enjoying it and stopping like Damon with the first kill, but not being able to stop like Stefan and feeling guilty afterwards.)

3rd person POV:

Damon and Stefan were stressed. They couldn't think properly. The one person they never wanted to be exposed to the dangerous world was out there all alone 150 years after she had last been awake. And she was also a vampire. A hungry one. Damon's plan was simple. Wait until the Sheriff found the bodies that their sister had killed and followed the trail. But Stefan wanted to act now. He wanted to go outside and find her, but Elena wanted to talk to him first. She wanted to know why she was out of the loop with this. Stefan wasn't in the mood to talk, though, so he said it to her straight,

"No one knew Elena. It was just me and Damon. And it's not like it was a secret. It was just something that was never brought up because you didn't know about it. That doesn't mean im keeping secrets from you."

Elena just stared at Stefan. She understood where he was coming from, but she couldn't help but feel a bit hurt.

"Helloooooo are we just going to ignore the fact that there's a very hungry vampire on the loose that most likely doesn't even know that she's a vampire, who just supposedly happened to be Damon and Stefan's sister, but that's not the point because we need to stop her before she goes all ripper like Stefan! No offence, Stefan, but it's the truth!" Caroline exclaimed. She really did not hold back when it came to the truth. Stefan just nodded at her, almost in a laughing manner.

"She's not wrong," he agreed, "we need to go out and look for her before anyone else finds her." Stefan worried greatly about his sister. He always had a from a young age. She would always do things that would get her into trouble by their father, but noble Stefan took the blame for her. He couldn't bear to see her hurt.

But neither could Damon. He showed it a lot less, though. In his mind, his baby sister was still downstairs in the box and not out in the world where she could get killed. For if he were to admit to himself that she was really out there, all alone, with no big brother to save her, he would break.
