The silence and tension between them was deafening. The rain poured over their heads, but neither seemed to notice. Her eyes were locked on his, tears streaming down her cheeks as her heart clenched in pain.

He longed to wipe her tears away, to hold her face in his hands and confess his love. He wanted to kiss her, to hug her tightly and offer comfort. Her tears pierced his heart, causing him deep anguish.

But he couldn't. He just couldn't.

If he continued to look at her, he would lose control. He turned away, facing the door, and began to walk towards it. His movements were interrupted when her fragile hand grasped his arm. His heart raced as he focused on her hand.

"Do you really mean what you just said? Look at me and tell me the truth,"
she said quietly, her lips trembling.

His heart pounded. He clenched his jaw, looked up at the sky, and let the rain fall on his face.

Taking a deep breath, he replied, "I won't repeat myself. Leave."

Without another word, he moved towards the house and locked the door behind him. Her hand remained suspended in the air before falling back to her side. She stared at the empty space he had just occupied, feeling numb. Her lips quivered as tears continued to threaten. Despite her desire to cry, she took one last look at the house and walked away slowly.

From his window upstairs, he watched her make her way to the gate. Clenching his fist, tears blurred his vision. He didn't want to see her anymore; he feared losing himself. He turned and saw his reflection in the mirror.

Without warning, he smashed his fist against it, shattering the glass.Falling to his knees, he noticed someone's feet approaching. Looking up, he saw the face of the person he despised most.

"You're hurt! What were you thinking?"

He didn't respond. Instead, he stood, hands in pockets, and said,

"Get out."

"But you're-"

"I said, get the hell out of my room!"

Stunned, the person left, shutting the door behind them. He locked it from the inside and collapsed on the floor, back against the door. Resting his arms on his knees, he stared at the floor as pain tugged at his heart. Silent tears began to fall.

He wanted to forget it all.

She wanted to forget it all.

But the memories came rushing back...
