It was morning time, the streets of Mumbai city were bustling like any other day. But there was even more bustling in Arpita's heart.
Today, she had her first date with Ishaan. That day at the fest, she said with attitude, "You will have to pick me up".
But today that attitude has been shattered and mixed with the pollution of Mumbai. "What if he didn't like me anymore after today?" She asked sayantani making a bad face.
"Stop being dramatic!" She replied in a straight voice that hit Arpita like a slap on her face.
Her palms were sweating due to nervousness. " But-", she didn't let Arpita finish her sentence and hit her head, said, " behen, today is not your first night with Aan, so stop being so nervous!".
"You're being vulgar day by day!" Arpita said making a pout on her face. Her eyes were still closed, Sayantani was applying eyeliner on her eyes.
"Yeah, all thanks to your double meaning talks " She said rolled her eyes.
Before Arpita could say anything, her phone rings. Sayantani saw the caller's name. Then she looked at her best friend, a sweet peaceful smile appeared on her face.
"Who is it?" Arpita asked. She can't open her eyes because of the eyeliner. So she asked Sayantani. She didn't say anything and received the phone and put it on the speaker.
" Are you ready Apu? I'm waiting outside". Ishaan said from the other side of the phone.
The happiness that Sayantani was feeling for her friend till now was shattered within two seconds by Ishaan's words.
This worthless girl was only eating her brain for two hours, two whole hours. First what to wear, and then what if Ishaan doesn't like it.
Ishaan had given Arpita the time of 10 o'clock, and now it was 10.30. And this bitch was sitting with her eyes closed, wearing only a top, shorts below and messy hair. And a lot of clothes were scattered all around her. And on top of that, that room was belonged to Sayantani.

Half opened eyes, Arpita was looking at her with an awkward, flattering smile, showing her teeth. As if looking at her current condition, she was begging her to manage it.

Taking a deep breath, she said, " Aan, can you wait 10 more minutes... She's almost ready"
"Hmm, take your time. I'll wait" Ishaan said and cut the call.
After cut the call, Sayantani gave Arpita a dead stare. " Aab natak karna bandh kar aur jaldi nikal yeha se!" She said annoyingly. Frustration was clear on her voice.
