CHAPTER 28: the moon is awake

It was nearly 5 am in the morning, keeping her eye wide open she was still counting sheep staring at the ceiling. From yesterday night to this morning, she couldn't sleep all night.

"Aab Ishaan ki maa mujhe chudail samajh kar tantrik bulayenge..." She said at her own.

"Wase main hu to chudail hi... But, it still hurts".

Yesterday is Ishaan's birthday and he invited them at night. Ishaan's parents plan to celebrate it at night after 12.00 am.

And she planned to confess her feelings to him. In this entire 3-4 months, he didn't miss any chance to pursue her and made her fall hard to harder for him.

And not all of that was showing-off. She knows that each and every thing Ishaan does, even the smallest gesture was very genuine.

______" Actually, love is really like a fantasy, just like Shah Rukh's movie. No one could find you your true love, you have to find it at you own.

Till now in a part of the Bengali audio story that she was listening to, those words 'love is fantasy....' were playing. And in the middle of the dialogue, she ended up crying for her under eye darkness, thinking that no one could save her now.

Arpita was so excited to today that she couldn't ever sleep at night. Continuously making up a plan to confessing her love, she searched on Google and then ended up watching an entire 16 episode k-drama just to caught up with an Idea.

Typical Over-thinker.

But didn't find any, she was listening to audio story now with a huge dark circles and red eyes.

"Zoo ki panda samajh kar Ghar se nikal to nahi dengi?" She said horriblely. Apart from Ishaan's birthday and her confession, is her first meeting with his parents.

Finally after one and half hour she get up from her bed and went towards the kitchen. She make a cup of coffee for herself and sat on the couch.

It's nearly 8 am when Sayantani woke up. Rubbing her eyes in half sleep she opened her room door and,

"Aaaaaaaaa!" She screamed her lungs out.

Arpita was sitting on the sofa, folding her legs, her long curls were hung over her face....

Hearing her scream she turned lifted up her face and sifted her gaze to her.

Seeing her face, Sayantani sighed, closing her eyes, Patt her chest. She was thrilled.

"Tu soyi nhi kya? Aise Monjulika kyun bani huyi hain" she asked noticing her red eyes.

"Sima... Aab uska matashree humko putrabodhu nhi manenge. Main Nadi main ja kar atmyahatta kar lu?" Arpita asked dramatically, faking tears.
