Chapter 14- Blind date

next day in college

Aditya sat near Arpita and Sayantani and played two Instagram stories again and again and again.
One of the Instagram stories was of Arpita where she tagged Sayantani and posted a photo of Sayantani and Siddharth.
And the caption was, 'something is in the air😏'.
And the second Instagram story was of Sayantani who posted Arpita's story and captioned it, 'meri jutti hain hawa main, ruk abhi teri chehre par aake lagegi😒😒'.

Aditya was playing the stories repeatedly without saying anything.
"Now stop, I understand you are angry." Sayantani said while making faces.
"Yes bro, we made a mistake that we didn't inform you, now you can stop it". Arpita said.
Aditya took a long breath and said, " People change like this. The one who used to say yesterday that I'm their best friend. Suddenly went for a picnic without me, and I was left alone"
Arpita, Sayantani, Siddharth and Ishaan all four were watching Aditya doing saans- bahu wala drama in front of them for not informed him about yesterday's picnic.

"Natak bandh kar adi" Arpita said.
"Uff, bol kya chahiye?" Siddharth asked directly.
Aditya was waiting for this question. Now he first prepared himself and...
"Sima ko date par Jana hoga!" Aditya spoke in one fell swoop.
"Kya!" Sayantani's eyes widened in shock. Arpita, Siddharth and Ishaan did not understand what the fuck he trying to say.
"Tu aur ek bar bolna Zara" Arpita asked.
"Woh, sima ko d-date par Jana hoga" Aditya spoke the last words slowly. Everyone was looking at each other. Siddhaarth's eyes were turning dark. Aditya was asking his love for going on a date with another person in front of him. Siddharth's fist tightened. At that time he seemed unnaturally quiet.

"Aditya, do you even know what the fuck are you saying?" Arpita asked.
Aditya knew something like this was going to happen.
Especially Siddharth, Aditya were afraid that Siddharth would kill him after hearing this.
"Look, it's not what you're thinking. Sima has to go on a date with a girl." Aditya said cooling the atmosphere.

"Kyaaa!!!" (2x dhum tana music)
Everyone's eyes and mouth were wide open. The first one was also fine, but what is this, yaar?
"Abbe Chutiye, main straight hun!" Sayantani said while covering her chest with both of her hands crossed.
Siddharth's anger has now subsided. Now he was laughing seeing Sayantani's reaction.
"Dekh Aditya, jo bhi baat hain khul ke bata" Ishaan said.
Aditya's face went completely dry. He made an innocent face and started narrating his family drama.

"My mom asked me to go on a blind date yesterday. Might be she is her friend's daughter. That is why she wants to establish my relationship with her friend's daughter, which I do not want under any circumstances". Aditya said in one breath.
"Aur tujhe kyun nahi Jana?" Arpita asked.
"Cause I'm just 23. And it-" Aditya got interrupted by sayantani.
"Kya, you are 23? You are older than us?" Sayantani said with a shoking expression.
"Not us, I'm older than you two" Aditya said poking Arpita and Sayantani's head.
"WHAAAAAAAT! you guys are older than us?" Sayantani asked Siddharth and Ishaan.
"Um hmm" they nodded.
"I thought you were all of the same age. Did you fail every exam?" Arpita and Sayantani asked.
They laughed at their stupidity.
"First of all, we all are the same age but 3 and 4 years older then you. Secondly, we didn't fail, it's our second digree. Idiot" Ishaan said.
"Yeah, he is already a doctor and I'm already a...... Working person" Siddharth said.
Sayantani and Arpita nodded yes as if they understood everything. But looking at Arpita's face it seemed that she doesn't understand anything yet.
"Can you please explain again, I didn't understand yet" Arpita asked as she was a student and they are her teacher.
"Mujhe pata tha ki ye gadhi hain. I'll explain to you later, but now, please listen to me!!" Aditya said.

"Yeah, now say, what do we have to do?" Siddharth asked.
"Haa, to main aapni jawani ka maza kharap nahi karna chahta. So please Sima, you have to go for me."
"No, I quit. Mujhe nahi Jana. You know na, I don't like humans!" Sayantani said.
"Okey, then Ishaan, Siddharth.. can you-" Siddharth interrupted him and said.
"No"
"Kabhi nahi" Ishaan said.
"Aree yaar! Koi to madad Karo" Aditya said helplessly.
"Apu you should go, she can handle this type of thing very easily" Sayantani said.
"No, she can't go" Aditya refused.
"Why?"
'If Apu goes, the poor girl will run away in fear. I don't want to take that much risk."
"Tera na sar phod Dena hain mainu!" Arpita said angrily.
