Enjoy ✨Sayantani returned to her room after midnight, the silence and emptiness enveloping the space. She sighed, feeling the weight of the quiet night as she climbed into bed, leaning back against the pillow. She turned on the air conditioner, the cool breeze offering comfort as she pulled the blanket over herself.
For a moment, she lay there in silence, but while her room and the world outside seemed to have come to a halt, her mind was still replaying the events from earlier. Those moments kept cycling through her thoughts, over and over.
A blush spread across her cheeks as she smiled to herself, the memory so vivid it almost felt unreal. She still couldn't shake the feeling that it was all just a dream-one that would vanish with the first light of morning.
The emotions swirling within her were impossible to put into words-an overwhelming mix of happiness, excitement, fear, and a tingly sensation that danced across her skin.
Unable to contain herself, Sayantani grabbed a pillow, placing it on her lap, and buried her face in it. A burst of giggles escaped her lips, unbidden and uncontrollable, making her feel like a giddy fool.
But in that moment, she didn't care; the sheer joy bubbling up inside her was too much to keep in check.
"How the hell did he even fall for me?" She muttered to herself, convinced beyond a doubt that she looked more pathetic than a beggar.
Always sleepy, no matter the time of day. No figure to speak of, no talent except for constantly feeling hungry, as if she hadn't eaten since the day she was born.
Dark circles under her eyes from late nights spent lost in books. A book-obsessed girl with nothing remarkable about her, she thought with a resigned sigh.
"I mean... Seriously? Main khud bhi apne pyar main na padu.. aisa kya dekh liya yaar isne?"
She shrugged her shoulder. Feeling a bit of a pity about Siddharth.
Yet, despite all of that, she couldn't stop thinking about how, against all odds, he still fell for her.
It seemed almost impossible, considering everything he saw in her as flaws. But the thought made her heart flutter, filling her with a warmth that pushed away the self-doubt, even if just for a little while.
Sayantani glanced beside her at the book resting on the nightstand-the one he had written just for her. Her heart swelled with affection and warmth, a smile spreading across her face as she picked it up. She held it gently, almost reverently, curious to see what he had written about her.
With a deep breath, she opened the book to the very first page, her fingers trembling slightly. The anticipation was almost too much to bear, but the thought of his words, penned just for her, filled her with a sense of joy and wonder she hadn't felt in a long time.
