The sky gleams grey and the snow has stopped falling. I don't know where I am but it feels like I have been walking for hours. My legs ache and my mind kills but it doesn't compare to the ache in my heart knowing that I'm never going to see Alex again.
Blood covers me like black paint to a white canvas and I relish in my enemies blood. The ones who hurt me are dead and the one who saw me for me is now gone too.
I pause in my steps and my feet sink slowly into the snow as I bend low outside of a garden gate, a single rose is still tall and red and I pluck it from the root, I twirl it in my fingers not caring for the thorns that prick me and I watch my own blood coat my already red stained hands. It is smothered in a layer of snow and the red and white fuse together in a display of beauty.
I register the sound of footsteps behind me and I don't turn around as I hear them pause.
"Are you with me or are you not?" I question.
I hear one of them shuffle and the snow crunch then Kingston speaks up, "what are you going to do?" He sounds tired an exhausted.
Without facing them I stand straight and keep the gun and the rose in either hand. "I'm going to take over Eric's mafia. I am the leader of Las Cobras."
I know Damien and Max are with Kingston and they fall beside me in a silent agreement.
"Our loyalty is with you," Kingston assures and we walk into the dead of night.
My rose in hand with my gun at my wake, with the crunching of red snow beneath our feet.
IT'S FINISHED.
I don't know if I want to cry are scream with excitement.
I can write the second one now but I will release some information on this later.
