Kokomi is a busy woman, I mean she leads an entire army? It'd be hard not to be busy. You two met through work about 2 years back. You were shocked to say the least when you found out she liked you back as well but you couldn't be happier. The people think you make a great team which you do it's just that...you guys never have time with eachother.
Whenever she is actually free you suggest she spends the time sleeping, you know she needs it but you need her. You want time with her. Even just a simple touch would be enough, but during work she treats you like everyone. You know she means well but damn.
You get snapped out of your thoughts when a you feel a small tap on your shoulder. You turn your head to see who it is.
"Do you have a moment?" It was Kokomi. You scanned her face, noticing all of her lovely features. From her beautiful eyes to the small smile painted on her fair skin. You smiled and nodded.
"Of course Kokomi" her smile grew and she gently took your hand and walked side by side with you. Her ever so softly squeezing your hand a bit. They were surprisingly soft, knowing all the work she does you'd expect dryness or maybe sweaty hands, but they were softer than silk. You rubbed your thumb against her skin.
You eventually stop infront of her office. She let's go of your hand to get her keys, unlocking the door and holding it for you. She silently said thank you, slowly walking in. Her office was neat, well expect her desk. Papers were scattered on it. But you payed no mind to busy focusing on the lovely paintings before hearing her shuffle around.
"Is there something wrong?" You asked her. She seemed...sad? "Have I don't something wrong?" You ask another question still not receiving an answer from the last one. She's quick to shake her head no.
"No that's not the case...I wanted to apologize to you privately." She's apologizing? For what? She looked up from the ground and held eye contact. Your heart sped up, things came across your mind. 'Did she cheat? No that's not like her, maybe she wants to breakup? Or take a break?'
"I haven't been spending enough time with you...I mean why can't even remember the last time we had a kiss, a real kiss" your shoulders relaxed and your thoughts disappeared. She played with the hems of her outfit/dress but continued to mantaine eye contact.
"So I'd like to make it up to you with a date night...please?" She gave a pitiful smile. You let out a sighed chuckle, you closed your eyes and re opened them. You slowly went up to her and grabbed her hands.
"Of course I'll go on a date with you, no need to be so nervous dear." She rested her forehead against yours and sighed contently.
Few hours later
You had just finished putting your outfit on and softly knocked on Kokomi's bathroom door.
"Everything alright?"
"Yep just finishing up..." you can hear something up wuth her voice "Are you sure?" You could hear a frustrated groan.
"I just can't zip up my dress" you chuckled and slowly opened the door to let her know you were coming in. You face told you she was over it, you giggled.
"Allow me to help" she turned her back on you, and moved her put up hair to the side for you. You gently zipped it up.
"I think you may have just pulling to hard honey" she turned back around and rolled her eyes. She grabbed her hair pin in and added just a bit more lip gloss on. You gave her a little handbag which she gladly took and placed her things in. After a few more minutes she finally smiled at you.
"All ready!" You sighed "Finally" she playfully hits your side "be quiet!" You both laugh. The two of you went to the front door, you grabbed your coat and expected her to grab hers as well.
"Are you not going to wear one?" She shook her head no. "No it'll ruin my outfit" you gave her a look. "Well you aren't wearing it the whole time" she still shook her head. You sighed and grabbed the keys holding the door for her.
At the restaurant
You took her to her favorite restaurant in inazuma. You walked ahead of her so you could open it for her.
"After you" you extended your hand to seem like one of those fancy butlers. She chuckled and nodded.
"Thank you." She went in after her. See in most relationships you would be the one talking to the hostess but since you're dating Kokomi things run a bit differently. So she did all of the talking.
"Miss Kokomi I understand you said you have a rented a table here but there's no name under it for you or your lover." The hostess said making you turn away from the window. You saw that Kokomi was getting upset.
"There's no way I planned this the weekend before?!" The hostess sighed
"I get that but there's nothing I can do, there's no other tables available you'll have to find somewhere else." Kokomi was getting ready to say something more but you grabbed her arm (gently ofc)
"Of course we'll be leaving, come on Kokomi." You took her out of the restaurant. She looked even more upset. "This isn't how this night was supposed to go." Her voice cracked. You wanted anything but her to cry.
"Hey hey its okay we can do something else, maybe a walk or picking flowers?" She rubbed her shoulders, a sad attempt to make her feel better but somehow it worked. She ended up smiling softly.
"A walk by the beach sounds nice" Kokomi looked up to you wiping the one tear that ended up slipping out. You smiled.
"Perfect we can go there now" You held your hand out for her allowing her to decide if she wanted to hold her you hand or not. She didn't, instead she grabbed your arm resting her head on your shoulder as you two walked to the beach. You giggled.
Hope you enjoyed! I wanted to write another story but u didn't know who to do so I decided the first genshin character I saw I'd make a story and here we are!
