     A few minutes later class started. Mrs. Sharp started teaching her lesson. Although she kept getting interrupted by a kid named Chris making racist jokes to Tyron.
    Just another day in high school.
  "Mr. Calmera" Mrs. Sharp said a few minutes later snapping me out of my thoughts I didn't know I was in.
     "Yes ma'am?" I questioned
"Can you repeat to me what I just said?" She asked
    I looked away from her to try and remember. But when nothing came to mind I said "no ma'am I cannot"
    "And why is that?" She asked
"I wasn't paying attention and obviously you noticed that or you wouldn't have called on me" I said in a smart tone.
    "Lennox I didn't ask for the attitude" she said
"You did when you called on me" I whispered under my breath.
    "Shut up Lenny" Meri whispered shoving my arm.
    I rolled my eyes and laid my head down on the desk. Mrs. Sharp didn't seem to care anymore. Honestly if she did I would've probably walked out.
    The rest of class felt like an hour. It was going by so slow a turtle could've gone faster.
    Although it felt like an eternity 15 minutes the bell rang.
    I stood up, grabbed my backpack, and headed to my next class without saying a word to anyone.
   I made it to the next class and laid my head down falling asleep.
   
      The next few classes flew by. It was like they never happened. Which was probably because I slept the entire time.
   Before I knew it, it was lunch time. I met up with Merida in the same spot we meet everyday but this time she had Julian with her.
    I rolled my eyes and waited for them.
"Are you gonna eat today?" Meri asked me
    "Nope I'm not hungry" I said trying to be nice in front of Julian.
    
   "Lenny" a familiar voice yelled from the other side of the hall.
   "What?" I yelled back not know who I was yelling to yet.
    When the person got in view I saw it was Conner.
    "What do you want Conner?" I asked
"Do you have any money? I left mine at home" he said sadly "and I'm really hungry"
    "Yeah here you go" I said reaching in my pocket and pulling out 5 dollars. I handed the money to him and he walked off smiling.
     I rolled my eyes and turned back to Meri and Julian.
    "Aww you do care for you siblings" Meri teased
"Shut up" I said and started walking away.
      I heard a few laughs and then footsteps getting closer very fast.
    Next thing I know I'm on the floor.
"So Lenny, what was Hartley talking about earlier this morning?" Meri asked
      "My mom and dad has a meeting with the principal" I said burring my face in my knees. "My parents haven't talked in forever so I don't know how it's gonna go"
    
    "You'll be fine but just in case let me know how it goes" she said smiling
     "Oh also I'm gonna be late for school tomorrow" I said
      "Doctors?" She questioned
   I nodded then realized we were leaving Julian out.
   I turned and looked at him who had a weird look on his face.
    "Are yall dating?" He asked
  Me and Meri both started laughing.
      "Sorry Julian never in a million years" Meri said "plus he doesn't even want to date"
    "So what?" I said "just because I don't want to date anyone doesn't mean anything
     "Your going to end up alone" Meri said
"Oh well love is pointless" I said
     Julian gave me the dirtiest look I've ever seen.
What the hells his problem?
    "Love isn't pointless" he said giving me a cold stare "it's actually really sweet and can be romantic"
    "Yeah? Well, I'll believe it when I see it" I replied
     "Fine then" he said and touched my cheek.

     He slowly moved his finger up and down my cheek before I moved.
    I felt my face become a little warm  and my body began to tingle. What is happening to me?
    "Oooooo is Lennox blushing?" Meri yelled shocked
    "What are you talking about?" I said trying to hide my face "there is no way I'm blushing"
     "I wouldn't believe it either if I didn't see it" Merida said "good job Julian I've never seen him blush before"
     Julian gave a warm smile. "It's ok sweetheart don't be embarrassed"
    What's with the name. My face felt hotter.
"Omg I'm leaving" I said before they could see my face.

  What is happening to me? Why is this happening? What does this mean? I'm going crazy
