Red Sky At Morning
They were all sitting inside Lunas rig. Vivian was sitting next to Bellamy with her head resting on his shoulder, listening to a girl read a poem. As she was starting to feel the effects of not having an actual nights sleep in days.
Bellamy looked down at her, seeing how tired she looked. So he pulled her closer to him. Vivian smiled up at him.
"I can't wait till this is all over." Vivian said as she looked at the small fire.
"Yeah, me too." Bellamy said.
"Because when this is all over, I am so sleeping for a week." Vivian replied, thinking about her bed.
"Yeah, and maybe you'll actually let me sleep in the bed with you." Bellamy said, recalling how when Vivian didn't have her memories, he slept on the couch in their room.
"Well, if you want to get technical, you chose to sleep on the couch." Vivian remarked, causing Bellamy to look down at her again.
"Would you have let me sleep in the bed with you?" He asked, already knowing the answer.
"Okay, you're right, I wouldn't have." She said, smiling up at him.
"Everywhere I looked, there were fins. And teeth. And blood. I knew if they saw me, I'd be next. So, I just floated there. Waiting. I'm praying they'd swim off, but they didn't...." The girl spoke passionately. Vivian looked over at Jasper to see that he was enjoying what the girl was saying.
"She's here. Maybe she changed her mind." Bellamy said. Vivian looked over to see Luna walking in. Bellamy, Clarke, and Vivian stood up and made their way over to her.
"The boats return at nightfall. Then you leave forever." Luna told them.
"Luna, let us explain. " Clarke begged, not giving up just yet.
"I said no." Luna said and tried to walk away, but Bellamy stopped her.
"No, you need to hear this." He got in front of her blocking her path, and the guy that was stanfinf next to Luna stopped Bellamy from getting any closer. "There is something out there that is going to destroy us all." Bellamy tried to reason with her.
"Whatever it is, it can't reach us here." Luna said.
"If it does, what then?" Vivian asked, but Luna just looked at her. Vivian had to admit Lunas gaze was intimidating. But Vivian stayed her ground. So Luna just walked by her.
________
Vivian, Bellamy, Clarke, and Octavia were sitting next to the fire while Jasper was talking to the girl who was telling her story from before.
Vivian smiled a little, seeing that Jasper actually looked happy.
"Jaspers actually smiling." Bellamy pointed out, causing Vivian to nod.
"Yeah, it's nice to see that again." Vivian said, then they both looked at Clarke, who was looking at Luna and Derrick.
"Clarke, let it go." Bellamy said.
"We can't just leave." Clarke said.
"It's not like we have much of a choice." Octavia said as she picked at whatever was in her hands.
"Maybe we do." Clarke said.
"What are you talking about?" Bellamy asked.
"I'm talking about putting this thing in her head without asking." Clarke said, showing them the flame. Vivian let out a scoff, not believing what Clarke was saying.
