Blood Must Have Blood Part Two
When Vivian came to, she realized she was chained up to a wall right behind Miller.
"This one." A guy in a hazmat suit said pointing at Fox.
"No! No!" Fox yelled as they dragged her to the table.
"Leave her alone!" Vivian yelled as they strapped Fox down.
Vivian pulled at her chains, trying to get out. No matter how hard she tried to get out, it wasn't working. Once the drill started, Vivians felt like she was going to pass out.
"Ahh!" Fox yelled in pain as the drill entered her skin. "You promised! Vivian, you promised!" Fox cried. Vivian felt sick to her stomach watching as they continued to drill into Fox.
"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" Vivian cried, no longer holding back her tears. Vivian promised Fox that nothing would happen to her. But that promise was broken, and Vivian only blamed herself. Vivian and the rest of the chained up people continued to yell and beg for them to leave her alone, but it was no use.
Vivian felt numb when Fox's body went limp and her screams stopped. Fox was dead.
________
Vivian watched as they drilled into another person, and Vivian felt like she couldn't breathe. Vivian looked around to see who was all in there, and that's when she noticed Raven and Wick on the other side of the room.
"On their knees." Emerson demanded as him and a few others walked in with people with sacks on their heads. Vivian looked at them confused when Cage walked in.
"Take any losses?" Cage asked as he stood next to Emerson.
"Not as many as they did, sir. I'm afraid I'm the only one left who's been cured. Some of the kids are still missing. If you'd like, I'll take a team in hazmats and sweep the other levels." Emerson offered. Vivian looked around and saw how Monty, Jasper, Maya, and Bellamy weren't in the room.
"No. No more wasted lives. In fourty eight hours, we will all be on the ground." Cage said, then looked to the guards. "Take off their hoods." He added.
Vivian watched as they took the hoods off one by one. First up was Monroe. Vivian yanked at her chains a little. The next was Sergeant Miller.
"Dad!" Miller yelled, causing David to look over him.
"Nate!" David tried to get up, but a guard hit him in the head with their gun.
"No! You bastards!" Milller yelled, yanking at the chains. Vivians eyes widened, seeing the next person whose head was uncovered.
"Marcus." Vivian said, shocked. Kane looked over his eyes, widening seeing his goddaughter chained to the wall.
"Vivian!" Marcus yelled, going to stand up just like David, only for him to get struck down. Next to be revealed was Abby. Marcus eyes traveled onto the body that they were drilling into on the table. "What is wrong with you people?" Marcus asked, causing Vivian to scoff.
"They're psychotic! That's what's wrong with them!" Vivian snapped, tugging on her chains. Cage smirked and walked over to her. Miller glared at him, daring him to try anything to her.
"Now, now, Vivian. Remember what Tsing said. You're the only psychotic one here." Vivian glared at him and spit in his face. Vivian wasn't psychotic. She never had a psychotic break. Tsing only told people to cover her own ass.
Cage let out a dark laugh and wiped his face off.
"Where is my daughter?" Abby asked, causing Cage to turn around and walk back to Emerson.
