I walked past Alessio and Massimo, not looking directly at them or I might lose the courage to do so but I had them in my peripheral vision out of cautiousness.
I headed straight towards the bathroom wanting to calm myself. I wouldn't lose it, dad already had a hard time being in the same room with the Falcone bunch, if I broke down now he will definitely kill them. I cannot do this to Amo and Greta, they deserved happiness after all they went through. Even though I voted for peace for our families, for Amo's love and for everyone's safety, I couldn't forget what happened that night and now looking at the same piercing blue eyes those memories came straight back.
AMO'S AND CRESSIDA'S WEDDING-
The wedding was over and Amo had just retired for the night with Cressida. I hated her, everyone one in our family did. Only reason she was getting married to him was his power and money, if Amo had been more careful this would have never happened and now knowing he went to Las Vegas to ask for Greta Falcone's hand but could never have her made this day even more glum.
We were going towards the car when mom and I got in, Dad said something to the driver then came to window, "I have some work to do peanut, I will join you later." and kissed my forehead.
I smiled and he said bye to mom. Something was up, before we left for church in morning he was having a very tense discussion with uncle Luca, they were planning something I guess or maybe they were just tensed because of presence of Falcones in the city. Our bodyguard sat in the front and we started going towards our penthouse. Suddenly something behind us caught my eyes. A van following us.The next minutes were pure chaos I heard bullets, shattering of glasses. Our car stopped suddenly, Mom's cheek hit the seat in the front. I dared to looked for what was going on and found our driver and bodyguard dead and van right in front of our Car.
A man came out of the van, he had dark hair, followed by another man, unlike the previous he was blonde. I knew who they were, I have seen pictures of the Falcones, they were Nevio and Alessio Falcone. I trembled with fear, unsure what was going on, tears gathered in my eyes. Mom pressed me to her protectively, opening the door, but we knew we couldn't run away. Our only chance was attacking but the way Valerio and Flavio sometimes talked about them, didn't leave much hope to me.
They came over to us.
"Hello there, care to spend some time with us." Nevio said his lips pulling wide in a scary smile."What is this, go away." mom said trying to appear strong but her voice shook. What was going on, weren't our families in peace even if it was only a bond of convenience, they couldn't do this.
"You see your nephew thought he could get his hands on my sister, he will pay for that, everyone of you will." he said still smiling and reached for mom, we both backed away and Mom placed herself in front of me protectively.
"There is no reason to make this tough but anyway." he pulled out a gun pointing mom's head and smiled darkly, "You will both come outside now and enter that van or we could just end you now, I will get my war either way." I shivered and mom too was trembling with fear, she got out and the boy held her by waist and dragged her towards the van. I looked towards the door and found cold blue eyes looking at me.
"You too", he said coldly, I couldn't move, frozen. He leaned forward grabbed by leg and waist and pulled me outside, I struggled in his hold, terrified of what was to come. Camorra was notorious for the way they dealt with women.
He narrowed his eyes at me and the cold look in those were enough to prevent any struggle I could do, "unless you want to die right now just do what we say, I don't want to hurt you but stop this." I shivered at his words but stopped struggling. He grabbed by arm and took me towards the van.
