LOST

Chapter 6

I went downstairs to the lounge as he had asked.

I saw him sitting on a couch with his laptop on his lap.

"Hey. What are you doing?" I asked.

"Umm well I guessed that you will be needing an apartment to live in since you are moving in" he said.

"So, did you find one?" I asked.

"Yeah kind of but you have to short list them" he said.

"Alright"

It took an hour for us to find a right sized apartment. Finally we found one it was a flat. It had two bedrooms, one living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. We called the guy whose number was on the internet.

"Hello sir" Tobin said on the phone.

"Hello. Who am I speaking to?" he asked.

"Sir, I am Tobin and I am calling you to check whether the apartment no 7 is still unoccupied. Since I was interested in it"

"Yes, it is still looking for a resident. You can come over tomorrow night and check it."

"Tomorrow night sounds perfect." I said

He hung up.

"Now we need to get you a job and get you admitted in a school" he said.

"Yes sir" I said.

I found a job at Starbucks and filled an e-form on internet for getting admitted in the new school. It was late at night so I decided to sleep. I kissed Tobin good bye and left.

The next six days passed in a blur. I got admission in Medway high school and college and got a job as a receptionist in the Starbucks.

It was the second last day for Tobin to stay. I woke up and called Dash.

"Hey bro! What you doing? I asked.

"Nothing, watching football" he said.

"Alright. I want you to execute the plan" I said excitedly.

"Ok. Will do it in an hour or so" he said.

"ummm ok. So......" I said.

"so.. what?" he asked

"How are mum and dad?" I asked

"Devastated" he stated plainly.

"What? Why? I mean why now?" I asked.

'Because they are afraid that this will ruin their reputation." he deadpanned.

"I don't care. I am not coming back." I said though half of me was caring.

"And don't you dare to. Now I got to go to execute the plan. Alright? Take care sis" he said and hung up.

Our teacher called us downstairs. I was in my pajamas so was everybody. I looked around and saw Tobin with half shut eyes. Our teacher made an announcement.

"Students can go anywhere they want to today as this is there last day in London. You must return back to hotel at 7:00pm. You are dismissed. Ms. Steve would you mind talking to me."

I looked around everyone was staring me. I nodded and went to her.

"Our school received an e-mail from your father asking if you could stay here." She said.

"Our school has took notice of that e-mail, so therefore you will be staying in London" she said.

I nodded and left. I saw Tobin sitting in the lounge. He jumped up when he saw me.

"Hey" he said engaging me in a huge bear hug.

"Hey"

"So.... Where are we going to spend the last day" he said.

"Umm... I was thinking of going to a place where we can have fun and all" I said, a bit unsure.

"Ok then go change into something casual we are going to the amusement park and a couple might be joining us" he announced.

"Umm okay" not liking the idea of someone else hanging around with us.

He got off the couch and started towards his room. I also went to mine.

When I went inside Mariah was singing "baby" at the top of her lungs and believe me you wouldn't want to hear that. I was smiling when I entered the room and abruptly she just stopped.

I went into the bathroom and got a warm shower. I came out and wore super skinny jeans with a baggy t. shirt.

*knock*

"Umm yes?" I asked.

A minute later Tobin was standing beside me.

"You ready?"

"Yeah I guess" I said still applying my eye liner.

"Okay then let's go"

We went downstairs and met a couple and left for the amusement park.
