Chapter 36

~ 3rd Person POV ~

The night had finally come, and Taehyung couldn't shake off the feeling of nervous excitement. Dressed in a flowy shirt and pants, with carefully styled hair and just a hint of light makeup, he couldn't help but feel a jumble of emotions. He just couldn't shake it

It was impossible for him to not be nervous

Earlier that day, Jungkook had specially instructed their personal chef to prepare an old-style Korean dinner, adding to the anticipation of the evening

Upstairs, Jungkook was keeping busy looking after the kids, probably getting them ready for bed or engaging them in some pre-dinner activities, adding to the warm family atmosphere that surrounded them. The stage was set for a memorable and intimate evening for Taehyung and Jungkook

Maybe only for Jungkook, because Taehyung felt like he was going to piss himself

"And here you two go" Jungkook said as he walked into their play room and placed down a variety of chips, candies, snacks, cookies and drinks on the mini table for them. They were good kids but he really needed them to be a little quiet for his evening

He knew that it wasn't really the healthest options right now but who really gave a shit. It's his kids and as long as they are happy, everyone else can eat shit

"Remember, mommy and daddy have important things to do downstairs tonight so please try and be as quiet as you can. Alright my little Pumpkins?. If you both get tired, just lay on the beds and we will be ready to give you guys kisses " Jungkook said as he ruffled his fingers through Jungsan's hair

His kids were probably and most likely ignoring him because they were too busy stuffing their faces with cupcakes and cookies since it's been a while since they had all of these at once. They couldn't help it

" Yes Daddy, we will be good for Mommy and you!" Jungsan said as he stood up and pecked a his cheeks alongside Sohee who ended with with frosting already starting to get on her chunky cheeks

" That's why I love you guys so much, you're my everything " Jungkook whispered to himself. The male turned on the television to their favorite show, SpongeBob and turned on the fairy lights for them

He kissed Sohee's head while she was looking at her iPad while playing for cooking game. She was just like Taehyung, she loved helping cook even if it meant that she was going to have flour in her hair and sticky honey on her gave. It was a sight that he adores

Jungkook smiled before closing the door. As he entered their room, he noticed Taehyung sitting at his vanity, finishing styling his hair

Walking up behind him, Jungkook hugged Taehyung and kissed him on the shoulder. He was absolutely, drop dead gorgeous to him. He was beautiful

  "You're so beautiful baby... you really don't need to do all this. You're stunning the way you are, that's why I fell in love with you" Jungkook said as he looked at Taehyung through that mirror

"I like looking good so what? I can't get dolled up for you anymore?" Taehyung asked as he giggled and playfully rolled his eyes. Always knowing that Jungkook loved him the way that he was was

He always accepted him, even after what happened

"When are they coming babe?"

"They should be here in about fifteen or twenty minutes. Either way, they should be on their way soon my love" Jungkook said as he checked his watch

"okay, let's go downstairs and get prepared" Taehyung said as they both made their way downstairs to prepare for their guest to start coming over

They removed the food from the warmers and began arranging it on the table, while Taehyung set out the plates and silverware, making sure everything was neat. He wanted to be on his best behavior

"You're so beautiful...my and only love" Jungkook said as he randomly pulled Taehyung didn't his chest. Kissing the top of his head as he made Taehyung blushed like a high schooler

Jungkook had that affect on him

They both were interrupted when they heard a loud "ding" which meant his guests were finally here.

Jungkook sighed with relief and said, "Baby, sit at the table while I get the door, okay?" Taehyung nodded in response and took a seat at the table, eagerly awaiting the arrival of their guests. Messing around with his one fingers as he was anxious to see them

Jungkook went to answer the door and he could hear husband giving them warm welcoming into their home. Without, hesitation, Taehyung quickly stood up to join Jungkook in welcoming their guests with a big smile on his face which he knew he had to put on

He promised Jungkook he could be neat and happy for dinner tonight and that's what he was going to do even if it might dealing with all of Layla's bullshit. It was all for Jungkook, and he was only to deal with all of it even if it killed him

Layla was the first to come in, a smile on her face. Jr let out a silent sigh and sucked it up

"Hello Layla, nice seeing you again" Taehyung said within a smile, which she returned with the exact same expression and reaction

" Hello Taehyung" She said as she smiled and footsteps could be heard from behind her.

"And this is my husband" Layla said with a smile and a great amount of excitement in her voice

"I'm Taehyung and it was really nice to meet you-"

Taehyung quickly stopped speaking when he turned to see Layla's husband. He tilted his head in confusion, eyes widening in shock when he recognized him. It was "Park San", the one man who constantly flirted with Taehyung at work and constantly called him the most beautiful man in the in world.

"I'm J-Jeon Taehyung, nice to meet you." Taehyung, the nervousness that was resting in the back of his throat. San smiled brightly at him, making Taehyung want to throw up as he reached out bud hand

"Nice to meet you also, Taehyung" San said within a warm smile that might have lit up the room for the people that weren't in Taehyung's shoes right now. San slightly gripped his hand, making Taehyung unconscious as pulled his hand away and sat right done next to his husband
