Chapter 44

~ 3rd Person POV ~

(Present time/after flashback)

Taehyung sat on the bed waiting for Jungkook to get out of the shower. He was most likely washing all of the the wash all the blood after himself. Taehyung was thinking how did Jungkook know that he was stalking him. For all these years, Taehyung thought he kept it hidden very for 12 years

If Jungkook was aware Taehyung obsession, why did he react the way he did upon discovering it? He acted completely normal and innocent in the whole situation. So how on earth did he know?

Taehyung was lost in his thoughts, the same thing wondering through and to the back of his mind until a sudden sound of the creak of the bathroom door opening. Snapping him out of his imagination

Startled, Taehyung turned his head to see Jungook coming out of the bathroom, looking fresh and clean as he always did. You know, without all of the blood and guts all over him and whatnot.

Taehyung couldn't help his own eyes from lingering on Jungkook and his body. That certain feeling in the bottom of his stomach every time he saw the sight of his husband. He kept falling in love each time

He couldn't hate him

He just couldn't

He cant

Taehyung can't hate Jungkook

"Like what you see, baby?" Jungkook asked with a playful tone of voice, breaking the silence with a teasing remark to his drooling husband. Taehyung couldn't help but roll his eyes at Jungkook

"How did you know?" He asked, a mix of amusement and curiosity in his voice because he could have sworn that he kept his obsession too secret and private

"Know what?"Jungkook said with a grinned mischievous grin on his face while caused Taehyung to playfully hit his shoulder with glaring eyes

"My obsession, how did you figure it out?" Taehyung asked, wanting to know how his husband found out

"Anyone who take the blame for me...saved me from getting kicked out of school. I think I would like the know who they are" Jungkook said with a smile, knowing about how Taehyung took the blame

"You know about that, how the fuck did you find out about that?l Taehyung looked at him shocked

"Let's just saying, Jaehyun had a big mouth" Jungkook stated with a loud laugh. Knowing that if his friend did have a big mouth, he might have never found out about Taehyung taking the blame

"snitch" Taehyung mumbled bitterly

"I also wanted to know who did it so I took the clues that I heard and I went to the yearbook department. With just my luck, I found a short boy with big coke bottle glass and a pretty smile" Jungkook said as he pecked Taehyung on the lips

"Taehyung...I know I'm asking this question twelve years later but why on earth would you do something like that for a boy you didn't know" Jungkook asked, he was happy that they were together but he never understood why Taehyung did that for a stranger

"If you didn't graduate, you wouldn't go to college and be successful. Then I knew that we couldn't get married and start a family. I was fine with getting expelled, but I knew it couldn't be you. The prank could ruin your life and I couldn't get that happen" Taehyung admitted honestly

To a random person, Taehyung's action were over the top, especially for a boy who didn't know him

"Baby that's so stupid" Jungkook groaned, realizing his husband's stupidity

"Well it worked didn't it?" Taehyung hissed and  crossing his arms while pouting. At least it worked and they lived happily ever after

"You're not the brightest either baby. Remember those times you slipped up? Did you think I wouldn't notice that the same boy from high school always seemed to be around?" Jungkook asked, placing his hands on his hips and kissed him

"If you knew all along, why didn't you say something in the beginning?" Taehyung asked curiously, wondering why he waited twelve years in order to tell him that he knew about his obsession

"It's not as simple as you think. I was just teasing you. I had planned to tell you after you left my house that day, but you left out of nowhere remember?" Jungkook playfully reminded him

"You should've told the truth from the start. Then I would've stayed, you loser " Taehyung mumbled as he playfully hit his shoulder and frowned

" I have been watching you closely, thinking about who invited your parents and suggested they invite you back when you were ready, I'm not dumb baby " Jungkook winked at him and walked downstairs. He searched for the wine and grabbed two glasses

"So you saw me crying for you and did nothing?" Taehyung gasped, grabbing the wine bottle from Jungkooks hands and poring his own glass

" Mhm I did, that's was my way of showing you how it felt to be left depressed for six months" Jungkook e chuckled as he grabbed his glass and sipped it

"Alright...I understand, Kookie," Taehyung said as he rolled his eyes and walked into the living room with his husband. Jungkook sat down on the couch and Taehyung placed himself in his lap

"How did you know I would return?" Taehyung asked

"I wasn't completely certain after college because not everyone has their crushes their medical records, date of birth, and past partners. I know you wouldn't just give up that easily " Jungkook chuckled as he placed their empty wine on the coffee table

"When I realized you took the blame for me, I knew I had fallen in love with you upon seeing you again. I don't think I could ever find someone who cares about me the way you do " Jungkook said truthfully while holding his cheek, smiling brightly at him

"You really waited for me ?" Taehyung asked, wrapping his arms around his neck, pulling him close as Jungkook placed his hand on his waist

"Then it was worth it." Jungkook whispered as Taehyung kissed him softly, the both of them gazing into each other's eyes. They both had a strong feeling that they were soulmates, with no concern for anyone else's opinion, only focusing on each other and their children.

No matter if anyone thought that their obsession with one another was unhealthy

Jungkook gently pushed Taehyung's hair behind his ear and kissed him. "I love you so much, Taehyung ,"

"I love you too, handsome." Taehyung chuckled, "

" I suppose I have always had Infatuated Passion for you handsome" Taehyung called out

" And I have always had an Intense Adoration for you " Jungkook whispered against his lips
