~ 3rd Person POV ~
Jungkook was in the middle of working out at the gym in his home. It was better working out at home rather than going to be a gym and having all eyes on him
He sipped a few sips of water and was about to put his AirPods back in until he heard his phone ring. With a frustrated groan, since he really didn't like being interrupted while working out, he walked to his phone
He picked up the phone and said "Jeon" in a irritated tone of voice. As soon as the person started talking, by his fast they were rambling, he already knew they fucked up. He sighed as he heard them speak
He rolled his eyes and let them finish. They fucking up his payments once again. This was the fourth time this year which meant they are fucking up money for his family which made him even more pissed
" Oh my fucking god " He mumbled with frustration had he got off the phone. He ended up up all his equipment and put everything back into place. He was the head of the company and if anything went wrong, it was going to be in him so he knew he needed to go him before they messed up anything else
He went to his room knowing he needed to go in with frustration. He really just wanted to be home with his family but it seemed like that wasn't going to be the case. He took a shower and put on his work clothes, got his briefcase briefcase and walked on stairs.
He saw Taehyung in the kitchen drinking some water, probably doing his usuals tea, water and cookies routine. The sunlight hitting him and giving him that pregnancy glow that Jungkook loved so much
Taehyung's eyes lit up as he spotted Jungkook and without hesitation, he hurried over to him with his phone in his hand, making Jungkook look at it
"Jungkookie, look at the cute cribs I found! I was hoping we could-" His words trailed off as he caught sight of Jungkook in his work clothes, and his brief. Taehyung could have sworn that his husband wasn't supposed to go into work today
"Kookie...why are you in your work clothes? You said that you weren't supposed to go in today " Taehyung mumbled with disappointment , wondering why Jungkook had to go into the office today
"I'm so sorry, my love. Someone mixed up some payments at work, and I really need to go fix it or else it's going to rain on me like a parade" Jungkook chuckled a little, going to make some coffee
"it's okay Kookie, you haven't been to work in two months it's okay go" Taehyung said as he placed a gentle kiss on Jungkook's cheek
"You're the best my love, l'll be back in three hours max okay baby?" Jungkook said as he poured his coffee into his tall cup and sighed heavily
"Okay" Taehyung smiled and kissed him
" I love you, I'll be back " Jungkook said as he then left for work. Jungkook started up his car and drove to his office. Rushing to his office and fixing what a dumbass messed up
He really didn't feel like cussing anyone out today so, he thought it was best he shut his mouth and started working so that he could go home and be back with his family like he was supposed to do today
After an hour, his assistant rang him. He picked up the phone, wanting to hurry up and leave
"Yes Min?" Jungkook said
"A women down stairs says she knows you and wants to talk to you immediately. What should I tell her?"
Jungkook tapped his pen and struggled his shoulder "Call her in" He said before he hung up
After a few minutes. He hears to the door open and he sees Layla wake in
"Layla what are you doing here?" Jungkook said as he got up from the desk and stood in front of her, wondering what she was doing here and why on earth did he want to see him when they haven't spoken
"I want you to meet my fiancé over dinner, I wanted him to make friend with all of my close friends, is that so wrong?" She asked while smiling
"What why?" He asked, wondering why she wanted him to meet her fiancé
"Because my husband wants to meet my dear friend"
"Well... I have to ask Taehyung about that but I would like to meet your husband. I'm happy for your" Jungkook said with a smile and hugged her. Happy that she found love...and she can leave him alone
"You can come come to my house tomorrow and I will make dinner for the four of us and we can meet each other..I don't see why Taehyung would've have a problem with it" Jungkook suggested
"Yay! See you soon!" Layla smiled and leave
He was a little worried about how Taehyung would react but, he just needed to talk to him. Jungkook finished his work and went back home. He smiled as he saw Taehyung in the kitchen making lunch.
"You're back already kookie?" Taehyung said as he stopped making lunch, which was a few sub sandwiches and walked up to Jungkook
"Yes, i fixed everything earlier than I could so I came back home" He stated as he got out a bottle of water
"Well that's good, I'm glad everything went well" Taehyung said as he kissed him on the lips and continued the make lunch for them
Jungkook felt nervous as he was aware of Taehyung's feelings for Layla. He hesitated for a moment before gathering the words to bring up Layla
"Taehyung, can I ask you something?"Jungkook asked
"Of course love, go ahead."
"Layla has asked that I join her and her husband for dinner..she didn't seem to have a problem with you being there as well. She thought it would be a good idea for all of us to meet as well" Jungkook said, looking at Taehyung
There was a moment of silence, making Jungkook feeling that he shouldn't have even brought it up to Taehyung, knowing his feelings towards her. He really didn't want him to stress about this
" I'm sorry Taehyung...we don't have to-"
"Okay" Taehyung said as he placed two sandwich on the table for Jungkook along with a beer for him
"Okay? like okay as in they can come over okay?" Jungkook asked him once again, confused on why Taehyung took this news so...lightly
"Yep, they can come over babe"
"...whats the catch Tae" Jungkook said as he started to side eyeing him, wondering why he was taking this news so lightly when he knew he hated Layla
"There is no catch Jungkook. You are my husband, nobody will take you away from me, we will always be together so I will trust you to make your own decisions. If she was to make a move on you, I'd know you wouldn't allow it. So what do I have to worry about?" Taehyung asked, motioning that his lunch was ready and Jungkook smiled
"Oh hallelujah...i thought you were gonna make me sleep on the couch again" Jungkook chuckled as he pulled Taehyung onto his lap
"No, i will be nice, it's time for me to be mature and I will be a mother of three...so I need to grow and be mature " Taehyung said as he kissed his forehead
"I love you so much" he asked as he kissed him
