~ 3rd Person POV ~
After waking up around noon feeling much better, Taehyung glanced at the clock beside his bed and noticed some ibuprofen and a small cup of water. He took them, sat up, and began to scroll through his phone. When he heard the door opening, he saw Jungkook walking in.
"Are you feeling better baby?" Jungkook asked as he kissed Taehyung on the head. Looking at his face and feeling his forehead to make sure he didn't have a fever or extremely sick. He already worried to much about him, this was just going to make it worse
"Yes Honey, I just needed some more sleep" Taehyung said while hugging him and kissed him on the cheek. So grateful for his husband
"I was making noodles and wanted to check on you and make sure that your were okay. I'm glad you feel better " Jungkook chuckled and pecked his lips
"Thank you, my love. I appreciate it." After exchanging kisses. "I love you "
"I love you too Kookie. Now that I'm awake...what should we do now?" Taehyung asked since they had the whole day to themselves since the kids are gone
"Let's go to the carnival" Jungkook suggested
"Without the kids...that's cruel and Jungsan will you the silent treatment " Taehyung jokingly said
"They went fours times last week, it's our turn alone, so go get ready. We will leave in one hour " Jungkook said as he kissed him on the lips and went to get ready for they could spend time with one another

It was a beautiful evening at the carnival as Jungkook and Taehyung strolled hand in hand, colorful lights all around around them as they ate their ice cream
Taehyung couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness. He knew it was a day to spend with just his husband but, he still missed their kids
Jungkook noticed the melancholy in Taehyung's eyes and knew he had to do something to lift his spirits. "I've got an idea, Tae! Let's win you the biggest Teddy bear here to make you smile," Jungkook exclaimed with a mischievous grin.
Taehyung chuckled. "You think you can win me a Teddy bear big enough to fill the void of our kids not being here?"
It was a bustling evening at the carnival as Jungkook and Taehyung strolled hand in hand, colorful lights dancing around them. Taehyung couldn't help but feel a ping of sadness in his heart, missing their kids who couldn't make it that day.
Jungkook noticed the sadness in jus eyes and knew he had to do something. This was the first time they spent together in weeks
"I've got an idea Baby. Let me win you the biggest Teddy bear here to make you smile. I'll
make you love me more then you already do "Jungkook chuckled as he grabbed his hand and pulled him closer to him
"I think I've loved you to the highest compatibility " Taehyung mumbled as he looked up at him
"You really think you can win me a Teddy bear big enough to fill the void of our kids not being here? Jungsan could bite your ankles if I knew "
Jungkook playfully nudged him. "Watch me, babe. I'll make sure that Teddy bear is huge, that can be your child for tonight and get your mind off of Sohee, because I know you miss her " Jungkook kissed him on the lips and walked over to the game booth
As they approached the ring toss booth, Jungkook picked up a handful of rings, winking at Taehyung who was playfully rolling his eyes at his husband. All of these remained him of their first date
Taehyung just stood there and watched with slight amusement as Jungkook threw the rings with precision, each one landing perfectly on the bottles
"Wow, what are you trying to do? Impress me like you didn't on our first date " Taehyung asked, clapping his hands sarcastically at him
Jungkook winked. "I thought I did my best to impress you that night" He chuckled as he locked his eyes back in to get his husband the Teddy beat
After a few more tosses, Jungkook's efforts and Taehyung silly side comments paid off as the carnival attendant handed him a massive Teddy bear, almost as tall as Taehyung. Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise, a wide grin blooming on his face
His gorgeous boxy smile on display which manages to always to make Jungkook's heart melt
"Awww Jungkook, you actually got it for me. Aren't you the sweetest husband" Taehyung giggled, hugging the Teddy bear tightly
Jungkook wrapped his arms around Taehyung, pulling him close. "Anything to see that beautiful smile on your face baby. Now, let's enjoy the rest of the carnival and no more talking about children"
"While we are ok the topics of first dates...you remember that you took me took me to the carnival for the first time..after you almost begged me to go out with you " Taehyung asked with a.m big smile, reminiscing about the first date they had
"I did not beg you to go out with me!"
Taehyung looked at him, not saying a word. Placing his hand on his lip and tilting his head
"..."
"..."
"..."
" Okay maybe I did beg just a little but that's irrelevant to the conversation " Jungkook gave up and rolled his eyes in defense
"See, you really did like me. Remember the next day, you put money in my hand and basically called me a hooker, great memories " Taehyung winked as he started to walk to the food stand
" You aren't going to let that go you are you? Wasn't that almost eight years ago? " Jungkook complained like a little kid but Taehyung couldn't help but giggle and peck him gently on the lips
As they continued their night of laughter, games, and cotton candy, Taehyung found himself grateful for Jungkook's attention and his. The special moments they shared together, making every day feel like it was the first time they were falling in love
