Chapter 43

~ 3rd Person POV ~

Jungkook and Keeho together in the classroom, picking at their fingers and nervously chewing their bottom lips as they couldn't help but feel nervous. The prank went to far and so far, it's only Jungkook's fault

"Kook...have they questioned you yet?" Keeho asked Jungkook, looking at him and placing a hand on his shoulder because he knew his best friend was the one who was the most nervous. They didn't mean to burn and destroy the science lab

It was an accident

"No...I hope not, but if they do, I'm total fucked. How could I be so fucking stupid" Jungkook groaned with a heavy heart while banging his head on the table. He was at risk getting kicked out of school and losing all of his scholarships due to this stupid fucking prank

"I'm sorry I got you guys involved in this...it was so foolish and I'll take the blame for it if I need too. I really didn't mean to drag you guys in it" Jungkook whispered, covering his face with his hands

"It's okay, Jungkook, it was an accident, we know you didn't mean too, it's going to be okay. As long as they don't question us, we should be okay for right now. No need to be sorry about this" Keeho reassured him while rubbing his shoulder

"This is my fault," Jungkook admitted quietly, her eyes with worry. "If they question me I won't mention your names...I'm such a dumbass" Jungkook groaned and he laid his head ok the desk. His whole life flashing before his eyes as he thought about the consequences that he knew he was going to face

Keeho shook his head, a reassuring smile on his face. "You don't have to do that," he said kindly, wishing that his best friend would stop worrying so much

As Jungkook and Keeho talked quietly alongside one another, they suddenly noticed Jaehyun rushing in, his expression frantic as he scanned the room. It was clear he was looking for Keeho and Jungkook. Once he spotted the both of them, he ran towards them

"Kook, guess what happened!!" Jaehyun said excitedly, grabbing Jungkook's arm and pushing on it happily. Almost snapping his arm in half due to how hard he was pushing and tugging on him

" You're going to break my arm Jaehyun, what are you so happy for? What's wrong?" Jungkook asked as he lazily looked up at Jaehyun

" You're off the hook! You have nothing to be worried about " Jaehyun said, almost yelling in happiness but had to make sure he kept his voice down

"What do you mean Jaehyun him? "

" Like I just said! You're the hook!some random guy took the blame for the fire" Jawhyun said with a shrug  on his shoulder and Jungkook was taken back. Someone else took the blame for the fire

"Why would confess to a crime they didn't commit, knowing it could get them in trouble or expelled?" Jungkook immediately asked, wanting to know what stranger took the blame for something they didn't do. Especially since this could get them kicked out

"I don't know and I don't really care. All I know is that least you're in the clear now and your scholarships are safe. Congratulations man!" Jaehyun exclaimed and him and Keeho smiled and high fived

Jungkook could even speak properly when he heard that another innocent person took the blame. He was happy that he was off the hook, actually extremely happy but...at the expense of someone else taking the blame and getting themselves trouble

Who was it?

"Who was the boy? What did he look like...are you sure he took the blame? You're not just hearing things?" Jungkook asked once again. He wasn't going to give up until he got some answers or clues
