Chapter 2: T-the Archon War?!(REWRITTEN)

I think I accidentally changed some important lore stuff so ya.

I flutter my eyes open and find myself staring at a blueish sky. I could feel a cold shiver run through my back.

"Where am I...?"

I started to sit up properly from the ground and continue to look at my surroundings. The more I looked, the more recognizable this mysterious place was. It seems like I'm on a mountain..and what in the world am I wearing..?

"Heh... So it wasn't a dream..?"

FUCK YEAHHH!!!!

I really am in Genshin Impact!..
Wait..if I'm actually here..does that mean I have the things I asked for..?!
I look around my body for the Anemo vision I asked for, but realize that there is something heavy on my back that's pulling me down a bit. I reach my hand to my back to feel around to know what was there.

...

..holy shit..

My eyes widen as I could feel soft feathers attached to my back. I turned my head to my back for my eyes to meet the majestical white feathers.

Wings...they actually gave me wings..! Oh my god..

I try to move them, but it just ended up moving only slightly. But..as I moved my wings the slightest, I heard something drop on the ground. Like when you dropped glass but it doesn't break. I look down at the stone cold floor to look for the source of the noise. My eyes could spot a cyan cylinder with a gold design surrounding it. I lean down to grab it and observe it more closely. It had the Anemo symbol, and the gold design was the design for the visions in Mondstadt..

As my eyes wide once again from the realization, I started to hear cracking from below me. I look at the ground to see cracks in the stone surrounding the piece of the mountain I was standing on.

"...Fuck."

I felt the stone disconnect from the mountain, and I suddenly found myself falling...from a tall mountain..

Desperate, as I didn't want to die again, used all my energy to try and figure out how to use my wings. I finally managed to move my wings more, but it was already to late. I fell through the tree branches and leaves, as they cut and scraped my body and wings, and ultimately landed into a bush that ended up messing up my hair.

..I guess my body can withstand pain better now...

As I sigh in relief that I didn't die, I could suddenly hear rustling in the leaves and bushes. Someone was coming. I quickly got up from the bush and hid behind a tree.

"I know you're there. Come out now." A familiar feminine voice spoke as it stares at the tree that I was hiding behind.

I peak my head out to see who it was and my eyes widen once again for I think the 3rd time today.

Barbatos. The Anemo Archon. He was my favorite character when I would play Genshin, and would spend all day building him and exploring. I always loved his carefree and funny nature, but it seemed different now. He was in his revealing Archon outfit and had his wings out, which I recognized from the manga.

(Funny thing is that I don't actually have him🥲)

"Reveal yourself."

I could feel a shiver run down my spine as I could hear his voice. I walk out from my hiding spot and my eyes meet with the others blueish green eyes.

As we stare at eachother for a few minutes, he finally spoke.

"Who are you Outlander?"

"I..uh..My name is Y/n."

"Hm..that doesn't sound like a local name."

"Uhh..cause it's not..?"

"Sigh..follow me Outlander."

"Wait wha-"

Barbatos starts to fly up as he tells me to come with him.

"You can fly, right?"

"Uhh..about that.."

"..."

Barbatos then grabs my hand and starts to fly up again, bringing me up with him.

..I'm not going to question it..

-Later-

We were still up in the sky and we started to actually have a conversation.

"Hm, you know I'm still wondering why you are here when a war is happening."

CMON GOD DID U REALLY HAVE TO SEND ME TO THE ARCHON WAR WHERE FUCKING THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND GODS DIEEE.

ugh.. how am I supposed to survive like this.. is this what God ment by "peace" is a harder thing to do.

Hm.. He's probably taking me to Mondstadt. Maybe I can ask Venti for help. He is the god of freedom after all!

(I fucking love venti so Ima make y/n like him too. Not romantically)

"Whatever. You're coming with me anyway, since you obviously don't have a home..."

"..I don't know if I should be thankful or disrespected.."

"Ehe."
